I see the 260 now.
Had a hell of a time getting shoulder bumps to be consistant. Some were off from the previous case as much as .003. Tried making sure the bushing and necks didn't have lube on them and it seemed to help but still had some swings. Not sure if it caliper error or something else. Finally got a couple hundred done from .003 to .005 with most in the middle of that. Will get a better micrometer. For new unused brass, run them through the same die even if they have not been fired? |

Out of a couple hundred cases this is all that were with in length spec.
Will order a Giraud case holder and blades for the .260. Hornady book says case length of 2.025 to 2.035. For cases that are longer than that should the be trimmed to min, max, or somewhere in the middle? |

I emailed them, and they said it looked like they should work just fine, but I know that the receiver on the .260 isn't your standard AR15 type lower. |

Nice deal! I would have swooped on that deal!
I found a new 8 pound jug of H4350 for $200. Picking it up tomorrow. Had a good range day today with my Dad. 300, 500, and 760 yards. Only got one pic and I may post it later. |

Attached File 1st 2 groups at 100 yards-1st group all touching, 2nd 1" spread. 3rd and 4th trying to out shoot the shootist WITH an ornage dot in the center of the target were around 1". That paper is tough to shoot for some reason! My Dad's 1st time shooting this 260 and his first TWO groups were nearly as good as my group. Now I'm sunburnt AF! |

I'm just guessing it's something to do with friction.
And is the bushing in upside down? |
