Tonight's featured avatar belongs to the team member, Fury_58 - a team member of the site since 2006. 
His avatar is that of Robert Prosky, an actor playing the part of Will Darnell in the 1983 movie Christine. 
Christine is a movie about a car - 1958 Plymouth Fury to be exact. (Hence the user name) Here's the trailer for the movie for those of you who may need a refresher. 
Now, every town seems to have their own Will Darnell - you know, the grouchy cantankerous ol' cuss who just seems to be perpetually angry. Well, I'll let you see for yourself.
Unfortunately for Mr Darnell, Christine is not quite as tolerant as the rest of us and well, she has her own unique way of handling problems.

little tidbit of trivia on this.
notice in the pic posted of the restored Christine, the tinted front windshield. that was how they were able to film the car "driving" itself, there was a stunt driver basically suited up in all black with no interior lights. |
