For those of you who are unfamiliar with the story behind his avatar, the character squaring off is 'Spoon, a British soldier in the movie Dog Soldiers.

The movie is about a squad of soldiers who do battle with a family of Werewolves in the UK. For those of you who are interested in seeing the scene where this image was taken from, you can see it here:

Forward to 1:31:40 to see the scene of 'Spoon going hand-to-hand with the canine intruder.

I like 'Spoon.

I remember watching that movie with some friends during a break between courses a few years ago when I was in college. Wasn't as good as Battle Royale, but still it had its perks.

As far as shitty horror movies go Dog Soldiers is one of the best followed closely by Out Post.

I saw it first run in the theatre in London.

I don't think it was SciFi film, just that they got the US distribution rights.
