Whichever one you shoot best.
Everyone has their favorites. I carry a G26 & J-frames.
All 3 to choose from are fine choices.
My advice is to get the one that fits you best.

Cheers!

You just need a good holster.

This conceals just fine in blue jeans and a t-shirt.

As a former Glock owner, I'd have to say M&P shield.

Browning Hi-Power

15+1 mags are out there
Same height as a G19
All steel so a pleasure to shoot
Reliable as anything including Glocks
Better than anything else

Love P938, that thing is a laser. I have a Kahr CM9 that I also really like, but it shoots a bit high for me. You should look into these 2.

I really don't get how ppl think a shield is soooo much easier to conceal than a G19. There really isn't much difference in size. I'm 5-10 185#'s and I can carry a g19 anytime of year.

This, but I am slightly biased.

(get the extended mag or that sucker is just too small)

Agree, I have all three mag sizes and the differences are surprising. Usually carry with the middle one, 7 rounder, or small 6 rounder.

Eh, no point in my opinion.  I got my Glock 26 for the same reason and I never carry it because it isn't any easier to carry and has less rounds.  About the only thing I use it for is pocket carry around the house when I am being lazy - though it still looks like I am carrying a Gideon's Bible in my pocket with the pocket holster.

In the poll, Shield.

But the Kahr CM9 can only be beat by the PM9.  Kahr is THE way to go.

I've had several LEO friends mention this too. After you put a larger mag in to help with the small grip your almost back up to a G19 just with over 1/2" less barrel and sight radius.

I've been carrying the Shield 9mm for about 2 months and it is the best purchase I have ever made. 8+1 9mm and super thin and concealable. Ive changed holsters a few times and have been using the Sticky holster and its extremely comfortable and disappears even when wearing metrosexual tight cotton tee shirts

I have the Shield 9mm and it surprised me how good it is.

If I'm going to carry a Glock 26, I'd rather carry a G19.  Too thick for what offers.

Never have tried the XD9.

Is there any advantage to a Shield 9mm versus a Ruger LC9s? They have very similar specs except it looks like the Shield has an 8 round magazine available.

That's such a subjective list that I'd say shoot all three and decide for yourself. Honestly, holster availability is a big factor when considering a handgun for daily concealment. I prefer something single stack for that application.

The LC9S has a much better trigger than the Shield.  The shield's grip is slightly longer, and it felt a little thinner to me.

No offense seriously, but you're a bigger guy. The shield is very noticeably slimmer than the G19, thus a much better conceal carry for those with a slimmer build.

Well, dang.

I've come to despise IWB holsters, and only carry OWB.  I was hoping the shorter barrel would help with that.  They are chunky, that's for sure.

Wide shoulders and narrow waist will allow even little guys like me to IWB carry a large gun. Hell I carried a G21 for a couple years.  Lose weight, do pull ups. Problem solved.
