Been reading quite a bit on the BBC and Janes.com on this, Janes in particular had a nice little write up regarding the similarities between current events and the '79 takeover of Kabul.
Back to a gear question though, does anyone have any info on the tan/foliage pants I've seen in some pictures? Look comfy as hell. |

It would not surprise me if he is one of the more dangerous ones in that group. Maybe dangerous if you a Hot Pocket, bottle of vodka, or his health insurance provider. I know there are a lot of people who are older who are still very proficient soldiers but i would be willing to bet he is not one of them. Their rifles are like factory fresh... it doesn't like they run them very hard. Agreed they should throw them down the driveway for a BFPU look.
