Here's my 6.5 Grendel. I start out with de-greased and Acetone-bathed parts, which I Cerakote with NIC Industries products.

AA 16" MLGS Stainless Barrel/Bolt combo
AA A2 flash hider 9/16x24 TPI
Apex 12" Gator Grip Handguard with integral QD sockets
JP Single-Stage Trigger
H2 buffer
I do color-fill on the lower as well.
Vortex Viper PST 2.5-10x44 MRAD Zero-Stop scope, which is a great piece of glass

what free float is that? the whole setup looks really nice. i'm building a grendel and havent found a handgaurd i like.

1st full build. 8mos. due to back ordered parts and 2.5 mos. in plating.

300 Blackout

First here's a photo of a 223 next to a 300 blackout

Here's the new build. 16" ultra light barrel and 13" handguard. Total 7.75 lbs.

Seekins/Spikes Billet lower with ambi bolt release. (Love It) Has tension screw under grip for creating pressure between upper and lower. (Rock Solid) Also under grip is a trigger reset screw adjustment, nice touch and helps trigger creep I think as well.
Vltor Mur upper receiver.

Plated NP3 Plus

JP soft trigger and hammer springs. Spikes enhanced hammer and trigger. Very smooth, soft pull.
JP heat dissapator.

Stippled Magpul grip. Used a solder gun and it came out nice.

It's a JP Enterprises PSC-11 upper w/side charging handle. I put a DD 10.3" barrel and Samson Evo 10" handguard on it, and now all I need is an optic and a can to finish it off.
