OK... just finished her up moments ago. Not 100% yet, as I am not yet finished with the FCG mods to reduce the take-up, but otherwise she is ready to run. Trigger pull is perfect other than take-up - I'm guessing 3.5# and I'll test that when I can get her to the shop.

Was bored so I pulled my home builds out of the gun safe and took a group photo. My god I need to put away the cell phone and find my camera to take some decent pics. 
Oh and a PSA to all those thinking of building their first AR, they are like giant lego sets and you can never stop with just one. First time you build it you find you want to start modifying it, then you go for another, and then another. Soon you are building ARs with pink furniture for your wife simply as an excuse to keep the addiction going. You have been warned. |

Yeah it is a surefire and the AR is a 9mm. It is a freaking amazing combo. Cheap ammo and low recoil with almost full auto fun. Now I just need a 9mm Beta mag!

Testing out my 300 BLK build.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S9Dgc7n0oiY 18" Wilson Combat SS bbl .308 Phantom SS MI handguard Eotech 5.11 and 2nd Gen Eotech 3x mag Adjustable gas block I turned the gas system off to see how quiet it can be. The action is louder than the round leaving the bbl. Yes, I didn't cycle the action all the way for the 2nd trigger pull, but its interesting that the trigger falling is louder than the shot. I spent about half an hour trying to embed this damn video, then realized that option is only available to paying members. ugh. |
