The Safety detent channel didn't look so hot when I looked at it before putting it in... The last CMMG LPK I got had most of the parts missing, so I didn't get to see the detent springs (someone at the shop used it to build a lower and someone else threw it back on the shelf), but someone at the factory could have goofed. Can't hurt to swap 'em and see if that fixes the problem. |

Here's my first build and my first post here on ARF....

My poor carbine is getting Vltor-ified shortly. I've been sold on Vltor EMod stocks for a couple of years, so I'm just going nuts on it. MUR-1A, Vltor gas block, BCM charging handle (all my ARs for the last 3 years have had them), and so on. My wallet, however, is not happy. |

Finally decided what rail I'm going to use on my build :)
A Spikes Tactical 12 " BAR Rail... Unless they'll sell me a 13" ;) But I think the 13" is a Seekins Precision thing (I know Seekins makes all of them, but I want the spider logo lol ) Does anyone have a 16" barrel with a 12" BAR rail installed ? (Pics ? ) |

And the eye relief is a couple inches. Its good enough for me. it allows me to shoot without having my nose on the charging handle. I think they are $110 from Primary Arms, but i got it free with the eotech in a package deal they had running. Its crystal clear too, however it is china made, if that bothers you. |
