That is truly one of the handful that got this thing started for me.....that is the one that earned your Rockstar status. Now if we could just keep your attn. and dollar bills focused on the badness and not in the FN kiddie pool

I think its time to declare Slipjett and Mark5pt56 officially full blown mrp lifers and Its awesome to see you guys bring so much new life to this thread w. the new MRP gear.

Slipjett, you should never have posted a nice grouping pic given you now are required to give us an extensive AAR on the new .22 mrp gear.  Down the road I will be torn between getting that awesome spikes mrp .22lr setup or the 20" .204 ruger SS barrel that Ive wanted for a number of yrs.  You MRP kit already looks like you have been at this for years.  I like your style for sure

I have never heard a single review on the .204 ruger SS mrp barrel and I hunt mrp info daily.  I love the actual caliber and its nasty stuff on a yote as well as being incredibly accurate.

10.5"? why not go 12.5

I had the 12.5" and sold it. It didn't do anything better than the 10.5".

didn't you have the piston 12.5"? i'm not a piston fan either. that's why i had a 14.5" cut down to 12.5".

the 12.5" gives me better performance *out doors* when i'm hunting little critters. the velocity difference was enough for me to add one to my inventory.

it's an MRP and ARFCOM...  get BOTH.

All of you naysayers will feel the wrath of my 12" dimpled and pistonized lead delivery system.

I love me some KAC stuff . That FH is bad ass.....almost makes me wish I didn;t have a SF Mini....almost. So how much for the dimpling?

+1 ... Beautiful SBR... I still think piston below 14.5 and DI above 14.5 makes sense

Finnaly got out today with the 10.5" MRP and the AAC can.  About 600 rounds down the pipe, in both semi and full, and I am totally in love!  An absolute dream to shoot and easy as hell to keep on target. With the can, it is like shooting a friggin paintball gun!  I am amazed at the recoil reduction. I don't think I have shot a nicer shooting/handling rifle.  Sully's Grail is in second place, but not really a fair comparison. I can't say enough about the MRP platform.  Now if only I can sneek some more time in with it at the range tommorow between quals........................

Has anyone put a 20inch barrel on a MRP? Or 18? Pics?..

Why do you guys hate the 12.5? It's the best of both worlds... you get (almost) the range of a 14.5 and yet look good as an SBR... for me that's a very very good way to consider 12.5. I sold my 10.5" LMT barrel and retained the 16.. now I regret selling it and is looking for a 12.5 myself.. perfect length for me in my opinion

This the setup I really love for an SBR, piston driven 12.5" of badness.... all around middleweight in my opinion.... nice rifle

Where are you guys getting these special barrels. I've been wanting a 13.7 inch barrel that will use the piston system and fit my surefire FA556 flush against the rail.

I am in the DICK bracket (dual income coupla kids) , however somehow I manage a small collection of NFA items.  Although the last time I was at the range the local CLEO let me run a few mags through his Colt M4 Carbine and I have the urge for FA.  That could be trouble.

Trident - I assume your gonna get a CQB MRP when your stamp clears?  My last stamp took 4.5 months so you got a while to decide.

Cheers

You guys got my side hurting with the DINK and the DICK....that is some funny stuff  Now that we are sharing our personal socio-paternal brackets....mine is the NINK  (No Income, No Kids) bracket.  I totally blame my current bracket status on the home lending crisis...damn you FANNIE and FREDDIE.

Your assumption is dead on.....still not sure how you knew that...lol.  Did you really just have to drop the 18week bomb on my dreams and aspirations?  Sadly in my case, there never has been a decision and so I get to kill zero of the wait time picking out uppers and dress for them....Its been basically built in my mind since my initial birth in the "Badness".....

Buddy if you show up with a m4a1 we cannot be friends anymore and I am pretty sure others will follow til eventually your only friend will be that f/a pony...j/k, I could never be a hater...esp. of a m4a1.

That s**t literally had me LMAO...I guess that makes me a DICK too...When the kids are grown and out of the house, I may just spring for the Full Auto toys..If not, I definitely forsee a REALLY FAST 2 seater for me and the wifey...My dad had a Vette and I've always dreamed about owning one of my own one day..It's only fitting you add the MRP CQB to your stable TRIDENT cause it will feel right at home...

Vette's are nice but I prefer Jeeps.....

Gotta haul that MRP in something!

This particular example has never had a failure to feed, fire, or eject, with or without the suppressor.
