Looking to do templar hard mode but can't seem to get a check point from anyone so if anyone has access to one I would love to run it this weekend. I have a gorgon checkpoint if anyone wants the chest in there or to run gatekeepers/atheon on hard.

I just got a PS4 and Destiny after a buddy talked me into it. It's pretty fun. Haven't played more than a couple hours though.

Well I did my first Crota run. Got shards, the emblem, titan shoulders, and the machine gun. Also have Templar HM checkpoint for later today.
Xur has: MK 44 stand asides-titan boots with extended shoulder smash and heavy ammo Don't Touch Me- Hunter gloves that turn you invisible when hit in melee (engram reward + Claws of Arahamkara that got sharded) Starfire Protocol- Warlock extra fusion grenade robes (bought) Dragon's Breath rocket launcher (bought) exotic glove engram (bought 2x) Don't touch me is amazing for bladedancers btw.

Ugh, that squiggly faced bastard...all I want is a Suros. I'd probably be content to not have another exotic in the damn game, if only I could get a Suros. Dragonsbreath? I've already got two of them from the Crota chest, and I have a Gjallarhorn anyways, I don't want or need your stupid ass Dragonsbreath launcher.
 I'll pick up Starfire Protocol, mainly for the increased heavy ammo. All of the upgrades he has this week suck too, except that he did bring the upgrade for Gjallarhorn back if you missed it last week. |

So I've figured out a way to tell what XUR is going to bring weapon wise Any time that I get an exotic, I can count on him bringing that one that week. Anytime I don't get an exotic, I can count on him bringing junk.
I'm going to buy the lock chest just because I need to spend my 130coins on something.....Actually I'm kind of looking forward to having 2 grenades and a float. I was using float on my alt this week when we did Crota and jumping up and floating to snipe the boomers worked out pretty well. I'm about to give up on Suros, I got a Vanquisher VIII last week from nightfall I think, it has perfect balance which puts it at almost 100% stability, and glass half full. Not the best in the world, but it will work once it's upgraded. I got another bounty for Bad Juju. I'm going to do it to get the new one and shard my old one. I really think that gun is going to be my go to for everything but bosses. The auto refilll is pretty great, but I did some playing around with the old one last night while I was trying to get the orb bounty from eris done. IF you kill like 10 or 12 guy your super is full again. On trash, the auto refill and the quick supers are pretty awesome. |

Okay, Starfire Protocol is pretty badass. All my whining about what Xur has this week, that thing is pretty good. It basically maxes out intellect, supers build stupid fast.
How fast? I spawned into the Cosmodrome on patrol, went downstairs from the start to kill those hive majors, and on my second trip down there, radiance was ready to go. That's like four majors killed and my super is charged. Even if you're playing as a voidwalker, having that much intellect and being able to build your super that fast could be clutch. I think I had recharged my super every 4-6 kills depending on the enemy. |

I pulled out all the stops and my warlock is level 32 now. I had to spend a lot of Vanguard marks to get there, but it's worth it.
1 Ballerhorn is fully upgraded to 331. Thinking about upgrading my other 'horn as well, but I'd have to farm up some glimmer. Now I need to do a bunch of bounties to get my Titan up to level 32. :) ETA: I will be short on shards to get my Titan to level 32. Might have to wait until next week until I can do that. |

Tried to do the vanguard precision kill bounty and I'm not sure what they call a precision kill. I've been using the sniper rifle and have many head shots and still no precision kills recorded. What give??

When they go splat and the damage you did comes up in yellow numbers, that's a critical hit, a precision kill. The vex goblins and the like, their crit spot is on their bellies, harpies, shoot the red eye, minotaurs/praetorians don't have a crit spot, just hammer on them until they die. Everything else, shoot it in the head for the kill shot. You can use your primary, shotguns, sniper rifles or machine guns. Ain't really no precision kills to be had for fusion rifles or rocket launchers. |
