So...who's arbitrarily raising prices on November 5th and who's not?
Attention consumer. To review the claims made against a vendor in the "Raised Prices On Nov. 5th" list, simply click on their name. You must draw your own conclusions as to whether or not the claims against a vendor constitute an arbitrary price increase/attempt at a fast buck. If you are providing information on a "gouger", please make your claims as detailed as possible. Links would be great. If you are nominating a Good Guy, simply post their name and web address. Good Guys are those who did not arbitrarily raise their prices on November 5th due to election hype. Any questions, please ask. I don't see any windfall taxes being proposed here or state AGs being called. But when you own website tells people with glee that you are bringing them savings of -51% then some laughing at you may be in order. |

To all the free market champions...
Nobody (that I have heard) is saying what they are doing should be illegal or regulated. So lay off the rhetoric. They made a choice, and now we get to make a choice with our wallets. Calm down, we all still love capitalism. Jeesh |

Holy shit! No such thing as price gouging –– only whiners with regards to how private businesses conduct their business. price gouging: pricing above the market price when no alternative retailer is available http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/price%20gouging Noone is advocating having the government force them to lower their prices. But, the fact that they've increased prices of a lot of items by over 50% is a dick move. As consumers in a free country, we're well within our rights to keep track of these types of things and avoid retailers who do them ETA: if you don't have a problem with it, feel free to pay $40 for something from CTD that you could buy at midway for $25. |

We can, however, let people know who to avoid. That list will be substantially smaller. Hell: I'm not even saying to avoid these vendors. I'm just giving people a thread to make their own informed decisions, per the links that I'll update in the OP. If anyone wants to list people in this thread who have good pricing the, by all means, list them. |

If the AWB sunset clause was struck, I would have thought I was a genius for finding them. All decisions have a degree of risk. Some arfcommers don't understand supply and demand, even though they loved it when trucks & SUVs got really cheap over the last two years. |

In before the apologists.
OH WAIT Either way, by doing this and giving a big "fuck you", we are forcing them to lower their prices. We as buyers are telling them that their products are too expensive by avoiding what is in demand. Yeah, there is demand for a given product, at that price? no. Here is where you will see a place like C-products make a killing- as they have promised their base that they will NOT fuck them in the ass, the demand is going to go insane, though they will have backorders, they will have a steady supply of customers, and will most likely reach the 'brand insistence" stage of brand loyalty. |

Telling us who has your panties in a twist doesn't help.
If you want to do something useful, do something like the Ammo List - link to the best pricing currently available for groups of products. |

Holy shit! That's expensive. The fun store here in town is kind of expensive, but they have 7.62x39 Wolf for $4.99, box of 20. That was last week, I'm going over there in about an hour and see if the price is the same. |
