stripped bullet lowers:

yesterday $115.00

Today $179.00

nice. I was going to buy a couple more but they can screw themselves.

I'm amazed they only went up that much.
Better buy now, going up more tomorrow.

Total bullshit.  They of course have a right to do that, but I am definitely exercising my right to not buy from them.

Other companies haven't went up, and there's still a group buy on 1919a4.com for $75 doublestars.

(Thanks to preachermanMATT for pointing this out...)

Anyway, if you haven't bought stripped lowers yet, do it today and quit whining about the price.

Aim Surplus still has good prices.

I'm a big fan of a free market economy, but that does sound a bit shitty to do. They could really sell a lot of them if they kept their prices low. With prices at 180 people will just go elsewhere. There are still plenty of manufacturers who will sell ~$100 even in the climate of a possible impending ban.

Hey, you've all known this was a possibility for how long now?

Be prepared.  That means having stuff ready in advance, not after the fact.

As of last night, the world has changed.  You now live in a world where firearms, firearm accessories, and ammo cost more.

We all made our mark.  Too much isolationism among our ranks I guess.

Not like I'd be able to get another one before the new 4473 makes me wait 2 more years, anyway.

If it was a rifle lower, then you could buy at 18, correct?  The new 4473 makes a distinction between receivers and complete firearms.

capitalism.  I can't blame them, but they do risk alienating their customers to buy from Anvil Arms or something like that.

The Regular price was $100 or $105 for colored in lowers, wasnt it? Atleast at gunshows it was.

Spike's is free to raise their prices, and we are free to be pissed off about it and not buy from them.

I think it is very disingenuous to raise prices in the middle of the night after the election results come in.  Especially on items they still have in stock (22LR lowers).

Where can I get a" pistol" marked lower?

The company that keeps prices where they should be vs jacking them up overnight with no reason to WILL get all the customers. It is our job however to share the deals and business names that respect gun owners and take care of them.

SO keep track and share information, the company's trying to rip you off will get the point and stop doing it...

There are plenty of other places to buy lowers from.  That's the beauty of the free market.  It's pretty simple really don't buy from them buy elsewhere.

Spike is free to raise his prices and we are free to MF him for it. I am very happy with my Spikes lower that I purchased over a year ago.
If his prices stay the same I will move on to another companies. $75 ones sound nice. Maybe I'll head over to that GB some one mentioned.
I was thinking about buying a few lowers to stash away for the kids when they get older.

I was going to buy one of their dedicated .22 cal SBR uppers this month.  Looks like I just saved over $600.

Two guys at my range this morning were showing me the Spike's lower they purchased yesterday.  They were going to go buy three more today until I told them of the price increase.

Way to alienate your customer base, Spike's!
