Now i just gotta wait for USPS to deliver the stamp...... Im sure that will take another 3 weeks |
|
It took me 2 months to the day to get CLEO signoff yesterday. A little bit of a hassle but now that they've been through the process, next time will be faster. Sending of my forms this morning and then time to shop for the next one.

I called yesterday, no dice Oh well, I was hoping to pick it up before the end of the year but guess not
Oh well...just gives me time to shim the rest of my muzzle devices so they'd work with it |

7/26 - Pending...
Approved before Christmas... Still waiting on stamps.. |

View Quote Nice, how do you like that megalithic upper? I keep considering one but haven't pulled the trigger yet. |

Doesn't look like very many of us put our information into NFATracker? If you've ordered something, putting your data into NFATracker helps everyone track trends and whatnot...it's a handy tool. If you haven't put your information in yet (even those of you who already got your stamps), it can't hurt to add it there. There's no identifying information there, for those of you who are paranoid about it...it's just item, date purchased, forms sent, when the check cleared (if applicable), stamp approved, and stamp received...

2 Form 4 Trust suppressors - mailed July 28/Aug 7 - both stamps arrived on 1/4. Approvals were dated the week before Christmas and New Years respectively but they both arrived the same day.

Finally EFiled my F1. Think I'll get it back in 2016? View Quote I just put in a form 1 can today. Hope to have it before July. I'll be submitting 3 more SBRs and 3 more cans before 41p, maybe at least one more sbr and 2 more cans too. After I get the first 3 of each done, I'm thinking of a 22lr or 9mm SBR with a dedicated can. 4.5 inch barrel, 6 inches of supressor, in a lightweight 9mm or .22lr would be fun and I'm sure become the wife's gun. |
|
Efiled form 1 for SBR last week. Want to get another 22LR suppressor and possibly the one size fits all SilencerCo hybrid before 41P hits. Maybe a another SBR but I am really getting tired of paying the government more money.

Where have you been?
Up a creek or hiding in a grove of maples? |

Sadly, no. I've been so wrapped up with work and other things that I completely missed this news. Time to figure out how to play the NFA game.... Still not sure I want to. Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean the ATF isn't out to get us all. |

Holy crud. This is the first I hear about this! Are you joking? Sadly, no. I've been so wrapped up with work and other things that I completely missed this news. Time to figure out how to play the NFA game.... Still not sure I want to. Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean the ATF isn't out to get us all. Get in now and file a form for an F1 suppressor before 41p. Set up a trust to protect your stuff. Fearing confiscation isn't a reason to not have NFA. It's a reason to have NFA. |

A right unused is a right wasted, even if you have to pay $200 per use. Need to make NFA common.
|

Finally dipped my toes into the NFA water.
Bought an AAC 22 supressor today. Now the wait begins. I think I'll hurry up and by a Hybrid ASAP |

That's certainly true... Anyone have a link to setting up a trust in MN for this purpose? View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Guys -
Does anyone happen to know the answer to this... As tax time is coming up. Can you deduct NFA Taxes as Federal Taxes paid? |

Also, are AOW guns like the Serbu Super Shorty 12 Gauge guns legal in MN? Been thinking of buying one here in ND... I really want a Mac 10 .45acp, or M11 9mm, but that would require saving a few years' tax returns... The Serbu Super Shorty could be bought this spring... Would be a fun toy for 2 liters, and maybe try busting a clay or two with it. |

Right but the stamp is $200 to make one and only $5 to transfer one that a C3 dealer already has in stock. Unless he gets a SOT to make it for him, then it's only $5 to transfer it back. |

View Quote True, forgot about that Every now and again I consider a Serbu Super-Shorty or something similar...but then I think - I'm never going to carry it, probably never use it, and if I need firepower in a compact package like that...I have all manner of pistols that hold more, and several SBRs I could tap that I could get into the same size envelope with a folded stock (I'm about to SBR a Zenith Z-5P ) It might be neat to hunt with...once |
