Hey Sven, it looks great, I like the attention to all the little details.
How much does the forend weigh? BTW, I just got one of your Night Brakes set up on my AKM247, works great thanks a lot. |

View Quote Thanks. I don't like to do "just good enough" but rather like to try and go 110% when we design something. Weight for the upper and lower together is 5.9 ounces. By comparison the wooden "hotdog" handguard that comes on the gun is 5.0 ounces, so for 0.8 ounces increase you gain picatinny optic mounting, QD sling mount, and Keymod on five sides plus a handstop. |

My M92 was approved on a Form 1, I just went to your website and the triangle stocks were back in stock. Order placed and Stormwerkz hinge added as well. I was going to buy a MidWest Industries handguard but I am going to wait until you guys release yours. Thanks for the quality products you develop.

I'm glad I clicked on this. I was about to pull the trigger on an MI rail handguard, but I think I'd be willing to wait for something like this for my M92. Is the end the year out of the question on that do you think?

I decided to run this by the wife before hitting the submit button on my order and the stocks went back to back ordered. She was on board with the purchase, any idea when they will be back in stock again? I should have begged forgiveness rather than asking permission, that will teach me.

Sven,
Any update when your handguard for the Mini Draco will be available? I currently have the handguard made by Midwest Industries on my Mini but really like what you have done better. Thanks, Dan |

Can I haz this on an m92? (just saw your pg2 reply)
I love your designs but hate the entire 'arclok rails not included at twenty bucks a shot plus base cost' thing that keeps pushing me toward Midwest when I finally do pimp out my PAP. At least you're giving us something to start with here on the top cover. Throw this on a PAP and i love you long time. |

View Quote I have the Midwest Industries on my Mini Draco and will be dumping it for one of these. I don't like rails "all over" like on the MI. Would rather have the option of adding "just" what I want, "where" I want and Sven's design does just that. $10 for a rail, big wiff that's the cost of a two boxes of Ruski ammo. The MI rail is also a little short for my taste and Manticore's rail has plenty of room for a vert grip and will keep my hand away from the muzzle device with the built in hand stop. Just my .02 |

View Quote Well, ARC LOK rails are not included on the Mini Draco Forend because the forend has KEYMOD on it. You can get keymod polymer rail segmetns for $12.95 with free shipping at AIM Surplus (or jsut directly mount your accessories by using Keymod accessories- kind of the whole point is to keep the rail smooth and cut out the picatinny middle man!) And if we do make an ARC LOK version, you can simply bolt Magpul polymer MOE picaitnny rail segments on if you want to save a few bucks over our aluminum ARC LOK rail segments. |

That's what I'm saying :-)
Unless you gouge the pricing, this version doesn't rape your wallet just for breathing the word "arc". So throw it on the pap already, bro! ;-) |

I've been on the fence about whether or not to buy a Draco pistol for a "truck gun" type application. This thread may have sealed the deal.

Sven,
Apologies if someone has already asked in this thread and I missed it, but do you have a ballpark price for this? Thanks, Eric |

Tumble, anodize, laser engrave, and on the website they go. |

I like this. Is there any reason you could not add key mod slots to the upper area where you now have the 45 degree slots?

Any ideas on how much longer until these are available? View Quote Mini Draco uppers are already at anodizing. Mini Draco lowers have chips flying on the machines right now. Extended forend uppers are done and sitting here (use the same ones as the standard ALFA rail upper). Extended forend lowers are machined, and finishing the second component of the extdended forend lower this week. Figure 30 days or less at this point. |

(Sorry if you have posted how it attaches already) View Quote It attaches by similar to the OEM handguard- a portion inserts into the receiver, the screw bolts it on at the front, and we also have a flange that is retained by the muzzle device iteslf (a few people have had the screw fail, so this is an additional safety measure to prevent the forend from shifting forward if the screw breaks while firing) Sven Manticore Arms |
