Anyone order directly from DD lately?  I ordered Monday and got a confirmation, but my card wasn't charged.  I'm not getting antsy or anything, just curious as to how long it's been taking to process over there.

Rainier Select 16 inch w/ gas block and tube $280

Finally found the barrel I've been hoping for. It's not a medcon, but it'll work just as well!

Just grabbed one too.  Hopefully they are actually in stock!

I've been emailing the owner of the store because I backordered one this weekend. He emailed me to let me know that mine had shipped already and I didn't need to order another one. So they really are in stock! and they will ship out tomorrow according to the owner!

I got a shipping notification!  Check the site and they are OOS now.

I ordered a barrel from the Zombie Barrel company.  Anyone had any updates or shipments to report? So far the only communication I got was just the automated responses when I placed the order.

They did say around three weeks when I ordered mine, and its going right on 2 weeks right now... I'll give em a bit more time.

I ordered mine on 1/3 and it is on back order now

Wait time is 6-8 weeks

Update on the barrel I ordered from AR15Depot.com  The gas port was way undersized...  Would not even budge the bolt backwards.  Guess that is why I own a drill, to open that guy up to the correct spec.

Back on Jan 9 I ordered a 20" pencil barrel from DelTon. "Subject to Availability"--- but they let me order it. Never really had any hopes of it coming soon. Received a tracking order yesterday, should be here tomorrow. Wow, pretty good for these times. Don't know if this means things are picking up. I hope so. Also when I ordered it I asked that a standard A2 sight base be affixed instead of the F marked one in the specs. Again I'm impressed with DelTon.

Now for the Zombie's. I ordered a MidLength back on the 16th. As said before at that time they indicated up to a 3 week wait. Couple days ago they announced everything was gone and now it's 6 to 8 weeks. Not really sure if I'm still in the 3 week crowd or now the 6 to 8 week crowd. How are these accuracy wise? I got into this late in the game and am trying to get all the parts together. I was considering their match grade barrel but if the selects are decent maybe I should just buy it while it's available.

I have a Rainier 18in Match, SPR cut with the .223 Wylde chamber.  It has the ability to put bullets in the same hole at 100rds.  I can't do it consistenly but, the gun is capable.

I have a 5.56 chamber 10.5in select barrel that I have not shot yet and it looks just as good as the 18in match does  Rainier is quality, and if they guarantee sum MOA with match ammo I would have no doubts it would produce sub MOA results.

The rumor is these are black hole weaponry barrels made to Rainier's specs. They're a great value.
I scored one of the 16 inch selects (non medcon) last night. I'm planning on having it dimpled now!

Scored a Rainier's 16" barrel?

If so, it's proof that they're not sending emails or I'm not getting any.

Might wanna check your junk folder or go back to the barrels you want and try and re-set up your "notify me" system.  Barrels like that one probably have the option of matte finish or black oxide finish which requires you to add them to your wish list to get notified.  They are sending out in stock emails for sure, I have received a few in the last couple days.

I think rainier puts groves for the gas block on all their barrels. I meant actually dimpling the whole front of the barrel. Like this. I'm putting this on a purple rifle. So i might as well make it crazy looking on the barrel too
