So I put together a little shack in my Garage because I find myself out here a lot. Equipment is Yaesu FT-1900 2m and an Icom IC-7200 with tuner in the cabinet

I have one of these and one of the 80 amp versions as well. Seems like this one might be a perfect fit.  The USB charging is just gravy:

Very well laid out. Neat and functional.

Does need a straight key and bug (or paddles), though.

Cluttered. A little light on the duct tape but not sure. Probably a half finished beer in there somewhere. Reality shack.

My shack is in the detached garage, located about 300 ft from the house. No more RFI issues. I was getting tired of my wife complaining of weird noises coming out of her hair drier when I ran full legal limit.  RX noise is nearly zero over here too.
I built a 10' x 12' partition in the garage. It's well insulated and as multiple 120V receptacles (from 3 separate breakers) and a 30A, 240V, single phase receptacle for the amplifier. The 75ft tower is 15 ft from the shack.

Tons. It's just organized into boxes and plastic bins and stored in the closets or in the basement. I make it a point to always clean up at the end of the day, even if I plan to continue working on it the next day. Otherwise it's too easy to just pile stuff on other stuff and then things get lost or broken and workbenches turn into a dumping ground for random junk.

Eta that pic was from a few weeks ago. Here it is today, many projects later. The entire hf station has been disassembled and reassembled (including antenna) for field day. I've worked several contests here since then. The machine on the left is doing power surveys on my discone.

When I've collected enough data for pretty JPEGs I'll post some. It's scanning the fm broadcast band right now but I have eventual plans to do an hf survey.
