So I think I'm still hung over from Saturday night.

I showed up with booze and doughnuts in the morning to help my buddy finish packing. Got everything sorted, loaded, and cleaned while drinking whiskey and beer, then we headed to the bar until who fucking knows what time. Got up for more whiskey coffee and breakfast, than sent his ass packing for Denver.

Not sure, maybe 30 or so.
The maintenance crew, electricians and a few of the machines that handle the large rolls are still running.

I love being the only one at work. No one to bother me or ask me stupid questions. It's why I get here so bloody early.

I work 7am-3pm most days. That way I still get time with my kiddos after school.

It's just so....quiet.

I sit next to someone that loves the sound of his own voice and the importance of his own opinions. I savor the quiet.

You'd love sitting next to me!

I sing to myself when I get bored.

You should sing to us.

Yep. Heroin is becoming a problem around here as well. Apparently it's easier to find than prescriptions. Cheaper too.

There's a big push around here for heroin awareness, making sure all first responders have drugs for ODs, and a mentality of treating users as victims.

The easiest way to reduce the number ofdrug ODs and the costs associated with it, is to legalize drugs so you can go get proper and safe dosages and instructions from a pharmacist at CVS.  If they have a trusted source for good and safe drugs, recreational drug users are going to use the shit off the street.

Almost all hard drugs are relatively safe if they are used properly.

The problems come because of how they are made or what they are cut with.

Lab grade meth is pretty fucking safe, and a hell of a drug. But most of the street cook stuff is incredibly unsafe and unhealthy.

Pure heroin is fairly safe, but its big problem is that the user builds a tolerance and needs a higher dose if they take the drug regularly.

Combine that with the fact you don't know what inactive ingredients it is cut with and what the dealer adds to bring the potency back up and you have a problem.

So the dosage you think you are taking can be very far off because you might be used to a very impure product and when you get a higher potency hit, it can kill you.
