So how does this work?  You print it out and get it notarized?

Does it actually have all the stuff you need to pass the trust on to family members (children) upon death, and all that fun stuff?

As an engraver, my advice to you is make is as short as possible. 'ABC Trust' with ABC being your initials. No spaces no punctuation. Unless of course you want a billboard on the side on all your SBR's, SBS's etc.

Yes.  It is wise to keep the trust name as short as possible.

No. The new owner hasn't manufactured the item. When you file a Form 1, you are submitting an application to manufacture a Class III item.

With your line of thinking, everyone would have to engrave their info on every item they purchase, including Form 4 items that came someone like Silencerco or AAC.

My first thought was the Stanley Cup.

Shit would be hilarious on a suppressor that's been owned by about a dozen people.

Actually, aluminum is very reactive to oxygen and rusts almost immediately. Luckily, that oxidized layer actually forms a protective layer over the rest of the aluminum underneath so you don't get continual corrosion. It's called passivation. Now you know.

Actually, I do know.  But it doesn't rust, it corrodes.

Anything built on a Form1 needs to be engraved with the trust name. Stuff pruchased on a form 4 does not.
Form 4 suppressors: NWRed's full name Living Trust
Form 1 suppressors: NWRed Family Trust #1, NWRed Family Trust #2, NWRed Family Trust #3

Thought about going shorter but it'll be fun when all my Form 1 cans have the EXACT SAME serial number-  SMURF1 (Thanks Unicorn for the idea!!!) . I'll get a discount from the engraver since he'll only need to change the #1 behind the word Trust
