BS!

The Communists suppressed the Jews!!!

Yes, some did. A large chunk of them were Jews themselves. In every country they reside in Jews vote for the farthest left politicians they can find. Not all of them, but much more than average. This is a fact. Lots of people on the right side of things dislike this quality in them and thus dislike Jews. Look at News York, look at Israel. They have been expelled from 109 nations since 250A.D., there is a reason for this. God's punishment is not something to be taken lightly, and he will continue to do so until they accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Until that day comes we would be wise not to interfere.

It's the truth. I'm ignoring the rest of your nonsense. I see you're in Israel. I've been to Israel more than once myself. I've seen the Pride parades in Tel Aviv, the Haredi in their neighborhoods and how they treat the goyim, the gangsters, the socialism, etc, I could go on about that den of sin all day. Bottom line is that it was formed against God's will and if they have any sense they'll repent, return to exile, and accept Jesus' love and forgiveness.

Amazing.

1. Gay pride parades are exclusive to Israel. Got it.

2. The Charedi want to be left alone. The outside world (Christian world) has only caused pain, suffering, and death.

3. Gangsters are exclusive to Israel.

4. Socialist policies are exclusive to Israel.

5. Sin is exclusive to Israel.

6. G-d spoke to you and indicated the nation was formed against his will.

7. America is free of all of the above.

8. Christians always live up to what they espouse.

As someone who is not religious and is about as neutral as you'll find on this issue ... the whole "Jews killed Jesus and are being punished" or "I don't like Jews because they killed Jesus" has always struck me as odd. Assuming that the Jews were in fact responsible, shouldn't Christians be thankful? If they hadn't killed Jesus, then the entire foundation of Christianity would never have been laid. Right?

Studying the history of the church will alter a man's worldview to say the least. Observant and secular Jews want nothing to do with Christians for the most part because of history. Christians today simply cannot fathom that their religion has been nothing but pain and suffering for Jews. Christians believe they have the answer and the way to "save" the Jews. Jews don't want it, don't need it, and want to be left alone. They do not see Christianity and Judaism as being "closely related" and that is a very hard thing for Christians to accept; Christianity is pagan to Jews.

The worst thing that could happen to a Jew is to be baptized or converted to Christianity. So much about Christianity is foreign and unlike Judaism.

Throughout the "new testament" we find Jesus and his disciples observing feasts and festivals that Jews are commanded to do unto this day. The "old testament" and "new testament" do not jive; if the "old testament" is invalid, it makes G-d a liar.

Out of respect for your faith, I won't go any further, I have no desire to undermine your belief system. As a matter of fact, I was indoctrinated in it since childhood and attended a non-denominational private school and studied the scriptures my whole life. Think on this.

Protesters attack Israeli soccer team in Austria over Gaza

Thu Jul 24, 2014

http://cdn1.independent.ie/incoming/article30456516.ece/359c2/ALTERNATES/h342/haifa.jpg

(Reuters) - Protesters against Israel's military offensive in Gaza attacked Israeli soccer players at a friendly match in Austria on Wednesday evening, stopping play five minutes before the end.

Salzburg police said on Thursday around 20 people with flags and placards, mostly Austrians of Turkish origin, stormed the pitch shouting slogans about the Gaza conflict, in which more than 700 Palestinians have been killed and thousands displaced.

Austria's chancellor condemned the violence.

"Guests who are staying in Austria have the right to do so in safety, regardless of their origin and religion," Werner Faymann said in a statement.

You have probably read about the violence erupting in Europe leveled against Jews, ostensibly because of Israel's attack against Hamas. At first, I thought the antisemitic backlash was only because of that, until I read an article that talked about Jews leaving France that was written in JANUARY of this year. It is frightening to think that this is happening AGAIN, not 70 years after the holocaust.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/morning-mix/wp/2014/07/23/anti-semitic-riots-in-europe-took-us-back-to-1938/
[div style='margin-left: 40px;']In the past few days, a spate of demonstrations that began as peaceful protests against the Israeli invasion and bombing of the Gaza Strip turned violent. Images show smoke-clogged streets, shattered storefronts and police clad in riot gear. They show dozens of youths, some of them masked, clutching smoke bombs and setting trash fires. And they show hatred.

A synagogue was attacked, along with a Jewish owned grocery store. "They were shouting: ‘Death to Jews,’ and ‘Slit Jews’ throats,’” a Jewish sound engineer told London’s Sunday Times. The man had lived in the community for 49 years, but when the Times reporter recently asked for his full name, he demurred. The chants, he said, "took us back to 1938.”

But it wasn’t just that protest, that suburb, that day. The New York Times has reported chants of  "death to Jews” and "Hitler was right” in other Paris demonstrations. In Berlin, according to the Associated Press, protesters shouted, "Gas the Jews!” In the Netherlands, a rabbi told the Jewish News Source unknown assailants shattered a window in his home with stones. "The fact that these attacks are recurrent shows the depth of hatred that exists against Jews,” he said.

[div style='margin-left: 40px;']...

A recent survey suggested France had the highest percentage of residents — 37 percent – who were openly anti-Semitic, reported The Washington Post’s Anthony Faiola. In Italy, one-fifth of the population felt that way; in Germany, more than one-fourth. Other studies also found rising levels of anti-Semitism in other parts of Europe.

That shows an underlying hatred of Jews that has NOTHING to do with the current conflict. Jews are leaving France. This article was written on January 9th of this year: http://www.welt.de/politik/ausland/article123693713/Frankreichs-Juden-fliehen-vor-Antisemitismus.html. Sorry, it's in German only but I'll paraphrase some of the important topics:
  • 3000 French Jews left for Israel in 2013, a 63% increase compared to 2012.
  • More French Jews left for Israel than US Jews, second only to Russian Jews.
  • The president of Representative Council of French Jewish Institutions, Roger Cukierman, blames the right AND the left for the problems.
  • Antisemitic violence increased by 58% in France in 2013
  • 60-70% of Jews in France fear being assaulted verbally or physically, and 46% are considering leaving France for Israel.
  • French Comedian Dieudonné, whose videos have been watched by Millions, has made "jokes" such as these: "What is the new project for Neo-Nazis? To make soap out of the creme de la creme of French showbusiness."

This should be a stern warning for anyone who thinks that "it can't happen again". It most certainly can.

yep, there are some fundies who think that god especially favors the jews generally, no matter wat they do and the state of israel particularly.

Then there are other fundies (catholic and protestos) who think they make god angry and that forming the state of israel is further instance of their rebellion.

Then there are the muslims who are especially anti-jewy since modern israel was founded.

then there are the communists who dont like them for their extreme over representation in finance.

then there are the...austrian/real capitolists who dont like their involvement in central banking and fractional reserve banking where 90%+ of demand deposit accounts balances are loaned out.

then there are the nationalists who are eternally suspicious of their loyalties and about their extreme over representation in media and government.

then there is just the everyman who doesnt like their pequliar ways, they way they are usually wealthier, sometimes stingy with waiters etc.

WARSAW – Anti-Semitism is high among teenagers in the Polish capital, according to an opinion survey conducted in the runup to Friday’s 70th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising.

The poll of students from 20 high schools in the city, published Tuesday, found that 44 percent of the respondents said they would be unhappy to have a Jewish neighbor. In the survey of 1,250 students commissioned by the Jewish Community of Warsaw, the Homo Homini polling institute also found that 2 in 5 said they would not like to have a Jewish classmate and 61 percent said they would be upset if their partner turned out to be a Jew.

they had a spot about it on cnn tonight (it was on in dunkin donuts okay).  About france specicically.  Most of the of protestor/rioters in the short clip they showed seemed rather brown.

seroudly though guys, I woudl be surporsed if germans were that anti-jewy, but the rest of europe, shoot, they don't have so much to feel guilty for and so I dont' see why they would be so easily parted from centruies of ingraned anti jewish sentiment imbedded in their racial memory.

I agree, and I don't think anyone is denying that.

What I am questioning (and extremely skeptical of), is the related claim made in this thread that anti-semitism is generally rising in Europe OUTSIDE of the muslim immigrants, who (as Agent_Funky pointed out) always gets restless whenever Israel and the Palis go at it.

In others words, I agree that muslim immigration has brought with it an increase in anti-semitism (thus somewhat increasing the overall level in a given society, and probably most in France due to their high level of immigration) - but I doubt that the overall level has ALSO risen an additional amount because of an increase in anti-semitism in the "native" populations of European countries.

A wonder if it is the influx of Muslims in Europe that is causing this.

I would say yes that is definitely a contributing factor in countries like France.  I don't see how anyone can deny this with a straight face.

I think the native populations will allow Muslim anti-Semitism to roll around the deck of the state primarily out of fear that the Muslims will then claim racism on the part of the Euro natives.

Almost, except for the date showing April 2013 - before the current conflict. But we've got enough other reasons to just dismiss those numbers outright already.

Almost, except for the date showing April 2013 - before the current conflict. But we've got enough other reasons to just dismiss those numbers outright already.

Oh I'm not blaming the current gaza crisis on the antisemitism, I'm blaming the obama administrations Islam sympathy for embolding them, which is what got us to this point.

Antisemitism abruptly increased shortly after obama got elected the first time and went on his apology tour, appointed Neapolitano, had the Arab spring fiasco, blamed someone that made a film on some riots, ect.

Then there was the World Trade Center rebuilding bugaboo which brought forth more sympathy and further embolding of the Islam world against the western world.

He's been having radical muslims as guests in the WH. They've been emboldened ever since he was elected and the incidents started increasing then. I have similar media blips about vandalism in NY and Jews mentioning the increase from wayyy back. That's why I was somewhat surprized when he got reelectd.

Even our "wars" have been one step forward, 2 steps back. When we "get"'something (big laden whatever) we lose even more.

So the current anti Semitic increase is just a progression of what's been going on all along.

But what can be expected when a country elects a Muslim after being attacked by muslims.

european anti-semitism.

yeah, thats an invention of the right wingers.

The republican party invented the concept during a strategy meeting in 2009.

It all depends on how you define anti semitism.

For americans, "I don't like jews"
For europeans, "we should kill them all"

There is european history before 1945.
Or simply ask what happened to the munich terrorists in 1972.  All the jews died in that incident, but some muslims lived.  How long did they stay in jail?

I think this is driven by pro Arab sentiment.

The Joos support Israel. Israel is illegitamate to the marxist set in Europe, because it was colonialy "imposed" by the US and Europe upon the "brown" (never mind that they are also Semites) people of the downtrodden middle east.

You post gave me an idea of how to solve this.  This all started when Rome evicted the Jews from Israel, back in the day.  So we give the Jews Italy and let the Arabs have Israel.  The Jews can fix Italy as a bonus.  The downside is everything left back in Israel will turn to shit in a decade.

OK Zhukov.....I've tried to explain this to you but you don't want to listen.

People cherry picking shitty links to suit their agenda is nothing new to ARFCOM - it happens in all threads.  I honestly expected better of you though given your normally balanced approach, unfortunately on this occasion you are nothing more than one of the usual fanboys looking to back up one side of a situation.

So here is an example of how day it is ........http://www.aljazeera.com/indepth/features/2013/09/20139413527769518.html

I don't mind if you have a side in this. It really makes no difference to me from a political or religious standpoint as I personally don't support either side in the conflict and think they are both behaving like asshats with their tit for tat stupidity.

However, when you start making accusations that Europeans are anti-semitic - and the same goes for all the other idiots who think the same in this thread - then I am going to challenge you.

There are 745 Million people in Europe, and in that population you are going to get people who do not like others.....there is always going to be a degree of latent dislike between some groups.  When tensions flare as they often do in the middle east, we see a rise in attacks by a very small minority of idiots.  The same thing happened in the Gulf Wars, after 9/11, after 7/7 and at other time.

If I see what you describe happening at any time, I promise you faithfully I would be the first one to say so. I wouldn't like to see it happening any more than you do. As it stands now, what you are describing is neither an increase in European anti-semitism or reliable in terms of a prediction of mood.

Cherry picking information of the internet at any time to suit my arguments.....google is great at giving people who don;t have a fucking clue what is happening more credibility than they deserve. A bunch of links on the internet is not going to cut it.  Sorry.

But the study was probably flawed, or maybe Poland's Muslim population is just really high, not to mention that we just know that those numbers can't be true...

Now I get it! You are the source. The only person who knows "what is happening". Do you do this from your perch in the clouds as you look down on us?

This would be my first time in all my years on ARFCOM, I was here prior to my join date, that I am considering the ignore function.

A wonder if it is the influx of Muslims in Europe that is causing this.

And? people are reacting to Israel bombing the shit out of civilians in Gaza.

This was covered back on page 2.

I wonder why they aren't reacting to the situation in Syria?
Or Iraq?

Nope.
Just the palistinians.
