I wonder at what point they switched from trains to flying people? I left MD for good in '95. I think the flying thing depends on where you are, and where you are going. I think they still use trains for some. Dunno, I've been out a while.  Actually next month will be the 30 year anny, of me leaving for basic.

I was telling Mauser, we had real low.turnover on the crew, so alot of years we would only hire 2-3 people. Get 100 applicants, pick the most hopeful resumes, interview 15, and end up just hring the least retarded of the group 
You end up only ever wanting to hire people that had a direct recommendation from someone you trust, and even then.......
