I saw this earlier and had one in my cart then realized that its a good deal, but not a great one.

black friday we saw some GREAT deals.

this is a very good one.

Do you know what the differences between these two battery types are?

I have no idea what the difference is between a 2L76 and a DL1/3N, but they both work in the AimPoint Pro apparently, so that tells me they are probably really close to being exactly the same. I ordered a 1/2 dozen from batteryjunction.com. That should last me 6 years at least if I change the battery every year. As I recall they were about $3.50 each for lithium.

I just traded emails with them, they sent me a link to where I can purchase the sale item for 400$.

I'm waiting on a response.

In their (skeezy, dirty, terrible) defense, the ad does say "prices subject to change".

I haven't purchased from them yet despite the temptation, mainly cause people who I know are indeed 'in the know' constantly tell me that buying good parts doesn't mean they were put together well or that its a good company.
