Got a text from a wrong number today:

Neil sent me a new picture of Gabbi. Made want to thank you for giving me such a smart and beautiful grand daughter. Also thank you for being such a wonderdul daughter-in-law. If there is a better one I have never heard of her.

My reply:

I'm cheating on Neil. You're waaaaaay off! It's not his kid!!

I got a call from the same number not 2 minutes later.

So? That was almost exactly my own reaction to that scene!

I think Lucas staged the episodes in the order in which he did just so he could sneak that one scene in for maximum "NO SHIT!!!!" effect. NO one in the theater failed to react!

A group of crows is properly referred to as a "murder".

Flock of seagulls, murder of crows.  Two is an attempt at a murder, as they hope more will join them.

No charge, glad to be of service.

That's very cool. How does that work?

I'm reasonably certain magnets are involved somehow.

Yes actually.  It's magnetic media.   He built a controller that sends a very specific sequence of read/write signals to the drives.

I didn't even look at that until the letter made me suspicious. Took even longer to notice the BFL shirt. It went something like this -
"What an idiot, this dumbass deserves to be living in the basement ... wait, Ryan's Steakhouse? That's odd ... I've seen a printer repairman reference floating around Arfcom, too. What an amazing coincidence ... Hold on a second, Larue hat? Something is fishy here. AHA! 87,000!  This is pure win!"
