OHHHHHH Dear lord....that pup is so cute it makes my teeth hurt.

How ya managed to get a shot while motionless, is the question.

My sympathy's for your socks, shoes, toes, and fingers.
Enjoy it while it lasts.

Our newest member of the family, Ranger.  Just came home yesterday.  He's 13 weeks and has the same birthday as my oldest daughter.  We've been seriously impressed with him so far.

My Leo as a young pup

All grown up at three years old now

By far the most intense dog I've ever had. No quit in him. He'll fetch a ball for hours.

I love this thread!  Enjoy those pups..as many of you know they are gone too soon.  I just posted on the memorial page a couple pics of our black/tan/red male Jaxx that we had to put to sleep 3 weeks ago.  My female (black one) is 11 years old and having trouble getting around :(  My boys have grown up with these dogs.  Jaxx in particular was so protective of them.  We had to always be sure he was crated when it was time to discipline the boys...he did not want those boys spanked! :)

My good buddy Blitz and first GSD. I am his second owner as his first family could no longer keep him. Fantastic dog that has taught me a lot about owning a high drive working dog. I believe his dam is a working SAR dog and his site is a multi-titled Czech line GSD. I'll only own Czech line GSDs for the rest of my life.

The other dog is Lucy. She the sweetest dog I have ever met and is something of a princess.

The squirrels have been taunting my dog for awhile. Yesterday I caught one in the pear tree that she had run down. A well placed pear to the squirrel sent him to the ground and she made like hell and grabbed it. I haven't seen any squirrels on the back fence since then.

Thanks man. He's 4 months old now, and 50 pounds. The vet is surprised but said he's not unhealthy.

Our Cain will make a bed out of any clothes, towels, or sheets that end up on the floor.  He steals hand towels to do this .   We put a bed down for him.....nothing.  He won't use it.

He decided the tree was perfect.  He moved presents out of the way, and crushed the tree in a bit.

guns,

I love your pictures and your art project threads are the best on Arf!

This is my 20 year old son and his dog Kane. Kane turned 10 months old two days ago on the 1st. I gave him to Jake for his birthday when he was about 7 weeks. I hoped that they would become each other's best friend and I think you can see that they're well on their way. I have "visitation privileges," but the dog truly lives for Jake. Its a wonderful relationship for me to stand back and watch develop.

My daughter took the picture and gave me a framed copy for Christmas. I can't believe she got either of them to hold still for 30 seconds!
