GD had no interest in it, but I certainly do. Hopefully we can meet Tier 2 A+ compliance within a reasonable time period.

The act allows a individual to start a business and seek investment from investors who are not accredited. As it stands now, it's very difficult to get investment from someone who is not a millionaire or works for a venture capital firm.

Here's a short read on the new rules : http://www.crowdfundinsider.com/2015/03/65007-the-reg-a-bombshell-50m-unaccredited-equity-crowdfunding-title-iv-takes-center-stage/

It's pretty amazing really, because for my company it will allow us to get away from banks and deal with smaller investors who are more business minded. It could also move banks towards a more competitive business style, because as it stands now they're the only ones lending to small businesses.

Banks will not change unless it is in their best interest, and they have it extremely good right now.

And this is gonna potentially pinch investment banking lending to small cap types of companies as could potentially make senior and junior debt VERY easy to do.

Considering the trend that banks are consolidating into larger banks or co ops. I can see how they wouldn't want to deal with small loans like that and really wouldn't care about the crowd funding.
