The Masterfire. I've only had it a few days and it will be here for 30 more days for T&E. It mounts the light, not the gun. Which requires a new light.

But suppressors, etc should fit. And the light can be set to come on when unholstered.

I'm going to thoroughly use it in an attempt to get any malfunctions possible.

Can't find anything on either... linky?  Also consider me interested... I love my RMR06, it's by far a better optic than the Jpoint I used to have, but I'm intrigued to see what the future holds.

I haven't forgot about this question. I've been meaning to take some good pics of the inside of the holster.

But I'm not familiar with the safariland version of "universal" light holster.

I think he instead means the screw layout for mounting that is universal to most SL holsters. Below is an example. Attachment Attached File

They should have put the battery compartment on top.
Or a side loader like the J-Point 2.0 (Shield RMS)... but I'm still somewhat interested as I have a few more handguns that 'need' RMRs.

After reading what I can find... I like that they're keeping the bottom profile the same so mounting solutions won't be an issue.
I also like that my current RMR 06's will not be needing to be replaced as I haven't had an issue with battery life or buttons getting pushed... and I've fixed my own flicker issues with a tiny piece of rubberband.  I'll call my RMR a version 1.5 with the rubberband in there.

Considering that the battery life is measured in years, why is a top or side load battery compartment desirable? Ease of replacement once a year if you're changing batteries for CCW peace of mind?

I think I've had better luck with batteries than Dog1... but I'd love to see the RMR a top or side loader (same overall size... love the current size) for ease of changes that don't require a rezero/zero check.

Certainly not a dealbreaker to have it a bottom loader. I own three so far and will be soon adding more.

I briefly had a Mustang that we were going to turn into a project but it, uh...is no longer with us . There was a Scout she was working on by herself years ago but that ended up getting sold.
She's wanting a WRX to play with next.

just got my TBRC comp for my left handed metric thread whatever glock barrel and I have to give them props. Part looks and feels great, they hit the sweet spot in the internal threads as it threaded very smoothly onto my glock barrel.

Can't wait to take it out sat and give it a work out.

This gun has seen like 4 different variations since I've had it.

Went from Roland Special to "Mayhem Special". Comp is the new S3F/Mayhem Syndicate carry comp.

If you go through activejunky you get 10% back. And you can buy gift cards through raise.com for 13.5% off too.

I grabbed one last night doing that.

Nice

Can you use multiple Raise.com Cabela's gift cards for the purchase or are you limited to one gift card per purchase?

eta- it looks like one can use multiple gift cards, but was just curious if you had done this

I tried to resist but I figured the ~$300 saved is more important than having upgraded electronics and whatnot, especially since it sounds like the battery contact issue can be fixed for cheap.

That price is right about what the LE/MIL sales direct from Trijicon were for trainers...  ordered.

Now I'm seriously pondering a 'Rolandito' just because 'Murica.

Don't forget to use the free shipping code, people.

They wanted $20 to ship the damn thing.

Using that code... with sales tax, my next RMR 06 was 200$ less than my last one.
That is a really good price, on a great optic.

Yes you can use multiple, they are just regular gift cards. I used some I had from when they were 20% off on eBay too.

Well, I fo'd on a RM06 yesterday The estimated ship times started to really climb about mid afternoon (mine was ordered and Cabela's stated it was a ~5 week wait).

After it is all said and done, I'll be out of pocket roughly ~$287 for.

Had I purchased another $50 gift card from raise (instead of just the 3- $100 cards--don't know what I was thinking), and used a promo code for raise as well, that would have shaved off another ~$17 or so, bringing my total down to $270.

I threw together what is the start of a faux land, silencer co barrel, primary machine stealth comp, and xc1. It's not a bad aiwb and the primary machine comp makes follow up shots a breeze, even with 115 poo ball ammo.

-I would prefer a 6354DO holster, Think it would work with a G17+TBRCI? Or Could be modified to do so?
-Safariland screw pattern or RTI mounting
-Retention. Prefer ALS, but would do SLS. I know someone makes SLS custom holsters, but not sure who.
-Multicam, Ranger Green, or MC Black wrapping would be nice.

Any suggestions?

Even better a TBRCI comped G17 next to a G34?

I'm a huge fan of the Trex Arms Ragnarok. It will fit the G19 or G17 with micro comp and light. They are usually pretty quick to ship too.

Another option is the Blackhawk Omnivore until you find something better. I use one with my G17+TBRCi Micro Comp and TLR.
They also make an X300 version.
