Well, this idea is just too cool not to do. So i have a couple quick questions. For guys running PRI hangaurds I assume rifle length is what you run? Secondly, for guys running AEM/ops inc cans close to or under the handguard how is heat transfer? I want to run an m4 profile barrel with an AEM5 so the AEM5 m4 collar would put the shoulder of the collar about 1/2" under the rifle length handguard.
Also, has anyone seen a long FF ras on a 14.5? |

11.5 mini RECCE SBR MBV ARC stock Gov contour 11.5" 223 Wylde 8 twist to eat everything Melonited set and forget gas block for tuning w/ suppressor KMR freefloat SAS Reaper 30 cal TI can TLR1s ADM SL34mm QD mount Bushnell ERS 3.5-21x50 Horus TRMR2 (Snagged this one for $700 or so and love it! The Zero Stop is a bit tough to set, but it's fine. It's usually on the 260 bolt gun, but it's fun to stretch the little guns.) 2380 fps MV with Fusion 62gr. This is my go-to barrier blind stuff and it goes transonic at about 600 yards. 5.2 mils elevation to 500.

Just got my trust finished up and will e-file a F1 here in a couple days. A SBR mini-recce is in my near future
And since this is a pic thread. How my mini sits as of now with my new ALG rail. The QD socket on my last one stripped out, and ALG just sent me a new rail. I can't bring myself to paint this one though, the color of the anodizing just looks to good to me.

My DDC EMR is much more pale. It's straight from the factory, its about the color of the DD RIS II anodizing I lucked out with the replacement, the one that broke was very pale, almost like the new Magpul sand color.
ALG's customer service is awesome too, I shipped out my old rail on a Monday and had the new rail by Friday. |

SOPMOD Damage Industries qd sling plate UC2 buffer and LWRC short tube - I'll probably swap this for standard parts later. |
