$15 from kitchen table ffl.
All the gun stores here charge $60. |

We charge $20.00 per transaction. So if you transfer in 5 guns at the same time, 20 bucks get you done. I don't pay shit for my transfers though. He get enough free labor from me. I fucked up my back plumbing and hang out at the shop to keep from staring at my own 4 walls all day. Atlas Firearms Winston-Salem NC

$10 - when he even lets me pay him.
($75 for NFA; there are some cheaper SOTs, but not as close or convenient.) |

The local shop here charges 50 for a long gun and 75 for a handgun. I have tried talking some sense into him but he thinks anything less is not worth it. I pay nothing as I do a lot for the shop.

[#16]
A pawn shop nearby only charges $10. I have used him for my last 3 transfers.

I buy a lot of used guns online. Prices are (at least were) good, no sales tax, no shipping, no FFL fee because I have a friend in the biz.

10 from kitchen table but it is now a drive from work. There is a shop around a mile from work that charges 15 and calls you asap when it gets logged. Which is always within a couple hours.

Last one I did cost me $25.
BTW......in WA, private party face to face transfers now have to be blessed by an FFL who does a UBC. So, what use to be free is now costing WA gunowners whatever the FFL wants to charge. You, can't expect that an FFL would do paperwork for nothing, right? A certain gun shop (I'm not nameing names) in Tacoma, WA told me that they won't do the check for pvt party transfers because their lawyer advized them not to. Claiming liability.....that they were now "in the loop" should something bad happen. WARNING......don't let the LlBTARDS get UBC to pass in your state. Aloha, Mark |

$30 per background check call. no matter if its one gun or 10 at once.

[#28]
shops in my area are high.
bought a membership that brought it down to 15 per item. everywhere else is usually 30-40 atleast |
|
[#30]
Found a place that will do transfers for $15.
Won't make a deal for those 10 packs of lowers though. Kinda kills the idea of ever doing that with the idea of $150.oo in just transfer costs. Fuck that. |
|
[#34]
so far every place I've found around me is a min of $20 per item.
|

[#35]
$15, doesn't matter if there are multiples, just a flat $15.

[#36]
No California folks have chimed in with their $50-75 transfer plus 8%+ tax on the price of the gun yet?
Last transfer I did was $35. |

$20 or $50 NFA. Not a kitchen table dealer. Has a small office and is currently keeping no firearms inventory.
And she really is hotter than a three dollar pistol. Most guys are attracted to her ample cleavage but she really does has a wonderful smile and the prettiest eyes. And she'll be calling me next week sometime. |

$0.00 transfers are free at my local gun store with yearly range membership. Before that it varied from $10 to $20. View Quote One of our local gun stores used to do that if you bought the "Platinum Package" which is something like $60 a month, but they discontinued that policy because they said "someone abused it." FWIW: their transfer fee is $40, I pay $60 a year for an outdoor 200 meter range 5 miles from their shop, and $10 for transfers from my FFL. |

Aloha, Mark View Quote Colorado started doing ubc a couple years ago, the same time our 15 rd mag limit went into effect. Something like 90% of our sheriffs opposed both laws and refuse to even attempt to enforce the mag limit. We have the same problem finding dealers to do the private transfer too. And keeping my mouth shut and ears open I'm pretty certain next to nobody is doing a background check on private sales. Haven't heard anyone explicitly say so but it's a strong feeling I'm getting. Massive civil disobedience. |

$20 at my favorite store. Some places MUCH higher around town, all the way up to $35, per firearm, including receivers!
I don't mind paying $20, it's fair, and he sells me Anderson lowers for $50 out the door. Even at super-duper $35 sale prices on the Anderson's online, by the time you add tax and shipping you can't beat that, and I get near instant gratification lol, so I'm happy. |

$20 at a tiny place near my work. They seem to do more training than sales.

25 for the first item, 15 for each additional. This is the guy who transfers my handguns. I transfer my long guns from a family member over the state line and don't pay anything.

Local kitchen table FFL does them for $10 if you have a CHL. Appointment only. He has his part already filled in on page 3 of the 4473, and copies your licenses and makes change while you fill out page 1 and 2. I'm in and out in 5 minutes.
