Seems all of the gun shops want $35-40. Ended up going with a pawn shop that does them for $20.

$20. Dreaded "kitchen table" FFL. I think he pays $10 to the state, so it's not like he's getting rich off of me.
There's a shop 30 minutes down the road that also does $20 transfers. Local shop is higher, but I avoid them for other reasons anyways. |
$25. Local Polaris dealer has FFL. In and out within 10 minutes and no drama.
I had to look around after moving but finally found a guy that does them for $20 for as many as you want each time. Everywhere else wanted 20+ per lower even if you bought multiple at a time

Local place for $15. Haven't used them yet, but they're good people.
$0.00 transfers are free at my local gun store with yearly range membership.
Before that it varied from $10 to $20. |
$25 since forever. If it's more than 1 at a time it's still $25.
$20 for the first firearm, $10 each additional plus $10 TICS background fee
1=$30 2=$40 3=$50 Pays to buy more! |
Gun Envy in Columbus is a flat $20 for 1-5 items.
Great hours and there is almost always a gem used gun for a good deal there also. Picked up a P89 Ruger NIB stainless for 225 OTD> |

$15
I have a nice kitchen table FFL jut north of town who is always fun to visit. |
Free at one place and $18 and $5 for each additional at the other I use.
Local FFL charges nothing for transfers. He knows some where down the line we will buy something from him.
i pay $30 here. the guy i use pretty much does gun shows, transfers and sometimes sells stuff he has in inventory during the week.

$25.00
Got four places within 5 miles of me that charge that. |
$25 per serial number in my area (central Ky.). Not per 4473, per serial number. Even if you have a CCDW permit where the shop doesn't even have to call in a NICS check.

Whatever a 24 pack of Bud lite costs.
That's what my local FFL charges. He's pretty awesome that way, even if he does enjoy homeopathic lager. |

Quoted:
Everywhere else wanted 20+ per lower even if you bought multiple at a time View Quote I'll tell you why I don't do that bulk fee thing for multiple transfers Because there are SOME guys ( yes, there's always SOME guys who ruin it for everyone else ) who would think nothing of clogging up the safe for a few months and keep ordering in something every week or two til they felt months from now that they had ordered enough and then saunter in to pick up 7 or 8 guns on a single transfer fee I don't think that asking $20 per gun, especially when there are additional expenses and tax taken out of that, is asking too much. |
$25 per trip, no additional charge for multiple transfers on the same pickup. $50 for nfa.
$10. I have been using this guy for years and have referred a LOT of people to him.
