I'm just pissed that I can't find enough shit to even tease the Rev limiter on the business Card. Nobodys got lowers, glock Mags, or less than Proctology quality Gouging on ammo. Fuckers! |

I just left my local shop 15mins ago. I grabbed the last DPMS lower receiver but they still have maybe a dozen or so Rguns lowers. If I had more free spending money I'd grab more lowers. No .223/5.56 although they just had a ton of 7.62x39mm come in and a huge box of AR thermold mags. While I was waiting on my paperwork a guy was buying their last AR15.

Imagine if this were all some conspiracy where "they" know some shit is going to go down and want the citizenry armed to the teeth, and all of this was just some ploy to make that happen. We're going right along with it in a ginormous way. takes off tinfoil hat |

Quoted: Damn ....that's just one company. Wonder how midway, bravo company or any of the other big guys did? I went to my LGS yesterday and it appears that everybody, from coast to coast, got hit at about the same exact time. I see no reason why midway or others would be an exception to that. |

I ordered Glock Mags from Midway Monday. Took forever for thier pages to load, and in the end, Got back ordered untill Fucking April...
Yeah. Midway is hosed. |

Quoted: People at local gunstore today were Nuts. A girl was trying to stock the shelf with aluminum usgi mags. She'd bring a box of 100 and open it up, and then get surrounded. People grabbing 5 to 12 at a time. Box after box. She was moving very quickly but could not keep up. It was kinda cool. Kinda surreal. Your experience somewhat mimics my own when I went to my LGS yesterday. The staff---God bless 'em---were just flat out overrun and overwhelmed. "Surreal" would be a very good description of what I saw. |

A lot of folks with a lot of money waking up and realizing they have a lot to lose. |

Guys. The NRA is still fully stocked with life memberships. +1 The tacked thread for Life Membership is a great deal at $300. That's not even the price of a Glock pistol. I got a Life Membership through that thread recently and when my new card comes in I'm going to sponsor my wife for one as well. In keeping with the theme of the thread, I didn't need any more mags, but I broke down and bought a dozen Mec-Gar 20 round Sig P226 9mm mags. It was the day after the shooting and prices hadn't gone up yet. It's insanity out there. I went to my favorite LGS and I know the people there. I got there at then end of the day last Saturday to pick up two Spike's AR receivers I had ordered a week or so before. They showed me the stack of 4473's. It was ridiculous. |

I am giving up for now till things calm down if they ever do. I have been to several empty stores and have placed an order online with no confirmation. No one is answering their phones.

I'm not sure how you could quantify this, but the thought occurs that one of the most anti-gun socialist presidents in U.S. history is presiding over the largest civilian arms build-up in the history of mankind. Seriously. When else in human history have so many millions of firearms, hundreds of millions of mags, and billions of rounds of ammo been acquired by a civilian population in 4 years? The irony is delicious. Don't forget about his nobel peace prize. |

People are knocking off early for Christmas I bet. They can't wait until today is over and already took the phones off the hook.

My peeps have told me that area gun stores are cleaned out. Empty. Nothing on the shelves or racks left except for trinkets and shit. The LGS here has no mags, AR's, AK's, Mini 14's, etc. He said he MIGHT have an AR or two coming in next week. |
|
I know the anti-gun people will choose to ignore the fact that many of these new gun sales are to new gun owners (people who before this did not own a gun) who are afraid there freedom to buy one in the future was going to be threatened. I hope all these new gun owners also choose to speak with their vote the next chance they get.

I've had my boss inquire about what kind of handgun to get.
He lives in a household with a wife who wants nothing to do with gun ownership, and has never expressed any interest in owning anything other than an 870 before. |

Did you tell your boos that right now, whatever kind he can get, is the right kind to get?

I've been stocking up before, during and after panics like this since the Gun Control Act of 1968.
This time it's my turn. I'm getting rich on ebay right now and I haven't put the mother load up for sale yet. |

If Metalform, Mec-Gar, Magpul, Checkmate, OK Ind., et al. are not running 3 shifts 24/7, they will be after Xmas.
The backlog must be insane. |

I had a hard time finding a magpul ubr stock at a decent price and in stock. Finally found one last night at 44mag for 251.00 to add the final touch to my build that I started 4 months ago.
Uppers and accessories are next to dry up. Edit: RRA upper prices are nuts on GB. I'm glad I didn't wait to build. |

It's really crazy.
The bro-n-law and I were just talking. He bought a Colt 6920 about a month ago. His first AR. He paid about $1300 for it after taxes from his LGS. Yesterday the dealer called him to ask if he was interested in selling it back to him! He said no. The dealer claimed he could get $3500 for that gun. |

I bought my mags and ammo years ago after the last AWB sunset in 04. I was buying a little bit here and there until a few weeks ago. Now I will sit back and save some cash foe when buyers remorse and credit card bills force those panic buyers to my door. My 2013 gun buying plans just got much better.
