Last year's thread: http://www.ar15.com/archive/topic.html?b=1&f=5&t=1121046
I'm a life member and with my new card this year, they sent me a form to sign up friends and/or family members for LIFE membership for $300. This is not a nerfed lifetime membership or anything like that - it is full life membership, just as if you paid the $1000 it would cost you to get it for yourself. This will be the fourth year now that I have offered to sign up arfcommers for $300 life memberships. Each year, I've signed up a couple and I hope to do so again. Life members get a voting ballot every year. We need more black rifle people so we can vote out the Fudds who think gun control is only bad when it happens to a 30" shotgun. I can sign up SIX people. If you're interested, I'll need a MO made out to NATIONAL RIFLE ASSOCIATION, not me, and also your information so I can submit it to NRA. I will only keep your personal information long enough to fill out the life membership form. No worries. eta: This is the information the NRA requests. I will only put in the information you supply me. If you don't want to supply something, don't. It's up to you. I'm just filling the form out for you. Also, if you don't tell me which magazine you want, I'm going to pick American Rifleman. eta2: This is who I have listed so far: 1. cpermd 2. Orangehat762 3. MarkNH 4. Brian_h 5. mrozowjj 6. Nate4635 I'll need a M.O. made out to NATIONAL RIFLE ASSOCIATION (not to me) and I'll need the information requested by the form above. If you want to leave out #, email, date of birth, then that's on you. I'm just going to write down what you give me on that form and then I'll delete it from my computer. eta3: To those NRA life member who have not received this offer, there is a reason. You did not receive this offer because you have selected the "Do Not Solicit" option aka the "no junk mail" option. If you elect to be on the do not solicit list, you will not receive this offer. I never chose to get on the do not solicit list and therefore I get this offer. eta4: I got a letter in the mail today (January 27) from NRA asking me to join the President's Council. I can't afford it but it gives me the option of signing up six more people for LIFE for $300. This offer is the same as the previous offer except it has a later expiration date. I have slots for SIX people. Did you miss out on the previous offer? PM me. eta5: My slots for the second round are now full. 1. ahoss79 2. EM901 3. ssgjason 4. BillofRights 5. Ibixable <empty slot> 6. Milkman15618 Others may still have slots available. <Title edit. ––tbk1> <Changed title again - Z> |

I did this for around two dozen members last year. It's a GREAT deal, and sorely needed. Thanks for offering it!!

Someone hooked me up two years. It's a great deal.

I'd jump on that if I had the money, but I can't even afford Christmas presents this year.
Sounds awesome, but I won't have the extra money till after the holidays. Maybe someone will have some by then.
Wish I could. 1000 is a lot. 300 is a great deal but pretty steep for me right now. Maybe in the next year or two.

I've helped four "cousins" so far. Mine were mostly bastard sons. They seem to come out of the woodwork at times like this. |

I'm interested, but it will depend on the insurance settlement from Irene damages. The insurance company STILL hasn't gotten an engineer out to look at the foundation damage. Much longer and nothing is happening till spring.
Thanks for thinking of us. David |

$300 Life Membership for the children and a .22 rifle or perhaps a muzzle loading rifle kit to work on with dad will make for a great gift IMO. One that will last for a lifetime.

I got I my 0bam0 loses card and added another 3 years to my already 3 years... Doesn't expire till 2016 now...

Me CP I updated the first post with the info you need. Please get the MO and then IM me for my address. I do it like this because each year a couple guys say they want this and then never get the MO. This cuts down on my sending out my address to flakes on the internet! |

I think we should elect another member to the board. |

If you're willing to pay the full $1000, you can go for the installment life plan directly with the NRA and you pay something like $25 a month until it's paid off. For this, you have to spend $300 up front. NRA membership costs you about $25 a year, right? In 12 years you'll have paid the same amount but won't be a life member. With this, you can vote from day 1. With this, you could never give any more money to NRA for the rest of your life and still be a life member. Honestly, I hope you give to NRA-IL but it's your call. |

Sounds like a good deal but the Messicans took my jerb so I'm broke right now. |
I got in on this years ago, and helped about six or seven "ARFCOM cousins" get in on it last year. Everybody should go for it.
I will take an opening if there is still one. Thank you very much for doing this.
Thanks EDIT: Missed the train, if anyone else has an opening please shoot me an IM. |
I REALLY wish I had the funds available. Trying to make sure we have money to get out of town and play hermit for Christmas.
I still have two slots open. Send me an IM to reserve a slot.

You're slot 5. Once you have the MO, IM me and I will supply my address. See OP for what information NRA requests. I have room for one more person. First person to IM me can have slot 6. |
I cross-posted this to the NRA Activism Forum in case anyone else has slots available.
I WOULD BE VERY INTERESTED. I don't care if I don't get the free stuff. I'd be glad to have it shipped to a friend. But I'd be glad to be a life member,
I'll make sure not to miss the next train ! |
IM sent. I gots money.
ETA: I wasn't able to get in. Someone help! |

I signed up for my life membership at the celebration of american values here in Louisville a couple years ago. They gave me the $300 deal. In a year or two, Ill be looking to upgrade my membership to the next level. |

Oh well. Hopefully another offer will pop up. If there is a drop out, let me know.
When I first saw your thread I was feeling cheep. Went out to the car and decided I needed to get this done. Came in to see I missed a call from my wife - Santa gave me an unexpected present and I can afford the membership now. abet 20 minutes too late. |

All my slots are full. About 10 more people IM'd me wanting to sign up.
If another life member is reading this, pay attention when you get your 2012 card in the mail. In that packet is this form to sign up 6 people. You would be doing America and your fellow arfcommer a favor if you would take the time to help 6 arfcommers sign up. All it takes is a little time on your end. |
I would like to do this if anyone has an extra slot.
Thank you in advance |

I would be interested too. I.M. me if one becomes available.
