I am looking at the 80pertcentarms.com Easy Jig using a cheap router instead of using a real big Mill machine. Anybody used their Jig and a Harbor Freight Router?

That's the jig I have on my list to order as funds become available.  Hopefully the jig will work with the 80% lowers I have already without modification.

They said they are going to alter the design  in the future to  make it work with other lowers . I just modified mine its easy  you only have to file down one place on each sidewall and it will work on std mil spec lowers

Their jig looks kind of thin to me to keep the drill aligned when drilling through the side plates. My next 80% project is going to be my first AR10 build. I'm going to go with the Easy Jig given Modulus doesn't have an AR10 jig, and I like the thicker plates on the Easy Jig. Where did you hear that the Easy Jig was going to be universal? I've read the same thing on another forum but their web site doesn't say anything about it.

Check out Tactical Machining. I have used there AR15 Jig and lowers on 6 builds. Everyone came out great. Well all except the one I tried finishing this morning! I broke my end mill. Oh well no fault of the jig and lower! I knew I should have had a spare end mill! Rookie Move! I have ordered 2 more.

Their Jigs and Lowers really come out great. Hard to see a diff between 80% finished lower and store bought lower.

Could you post pic(s) of the sides and where you had to file them down?  Did you get their drill bits and end mills or use other ones?
