Holy crap that is bright! That's going to be ordered stat, just as soon as TBS gives up the info on which product he got! I've got KCs on the roof, but honestly, they just don't put out enough light. Maybe I can figure out how to make a bar fit on my custom bracket... http://i1266.photobucket.com/albums/jj526/faldodib/Truck/c4a1bf1d.jpg there are tons of tube mounts that would fit on top of your bar |

If you guys are serious about wanting some of these I have some connections in the emergency lighting industry and can get a fair price on bulk orders.
It would have to be a group buy with staff approval. Feniex Work Lights My advice, stay away from the China lights and ebay sellers, they have a horrible track record. |

Ok....where on eBay? Any link? My jeep is jealous. Mine is too. I also want to know more about the liner TBS used. I got mine from trailworthyfab. Stutz saw how bright mine was. My night vision still has not recovered. Thanks. No shit, it was as bright as whatever game they were playing was loud. |

What kind of prep was required before you sprayed? |

I may get one and see if we want to retrofit our vehicle scene lighting at the FD...
Also if the color scale is normal it would be great for investigations. Light w/o a ton of heat like quartz lamps. |

there are tons of IR work lights out there. most are floods, the ones i have seen are WAY to strong for general NV use from what i have seen.

Light w/o a ton of heat like quartz lamps. not sure i am ready to rely on this for serious use. these put out the typical "white" led light just like the flashlights. these are ip68 water/dust resistant rated, but we are talking chicom construction. i will say the bar i got seems very well put together. even the painted finish is top notch. wiring ports appear properly sealed also. if it's not going to be a primary light go for it, the price is right. if your life is depending on it.... i haven't had it long enough yet. |

Take it for what it's worth but I do have a lot of experience with emergency lighting, I know both Louis (owner) and Tom (sales manager) over at strobes n more (they most likely won't remember me though) where you got your SNM D12 dash light. Here's the gig with china lights... They have a horrible issue with being weatherproof, a very high failure rate with water issues. The heat sinks for the LEDs are way undersized leading to burnt out LEDs in very short order. When this happens you will go to return it under warranty only to find out the ebay seller has closed the account and reopened under a new name and won't know who you are and there will be noting you can do. China LEDs are a dime a dozen right now, most are not CREE but CREE knock offs, they claim gen 3 or 4 when they are really gen 1 or 2. I am in no way trying to put down your lights, that is not my intention, I hope you get many years of service from that light and it works well for you, but I have seen hundreds if not thousands of the horror stories that come form ebay China LEDs not to speak up when I see others wanting to buy them. Now that SNM D12 in your window was made in China but SNM markets that stateside and Louis will stand behind that warranty, that is the key, finding a stateside dealer that won't disappear in 90 days who designs and QC's the lighting. ETA- Great choice on that light, those guys design and sell some good stuff. |

One thing i did before purchase was to research this particular bar. to my surprise i found no reports of failures, with the exception of one report damaged in shipping. for the record SNM is my goto shop for our FD leds. |

i am thinking about ordering 3 of the 12" flood bars to mount on the sides and rear of my roof rack. would be awesome for work floods around the truck.
|

OP I put one of those on my pickup over a hear ago. I've had ZERO problems out of it. It's been 100% reliable and is still insanely bright.
All at about 25% of the cost of a Rigid bar. |

At least with LEDs you don't need to worry about the lights bubbling the paint on the hood
