Thanks, I'll post pics when it's done. amazon had the best price when i got mine last month That's where I ordered it from. Hopefully I'll get time next week to do it. How bad was the overspray? Did you paper over the windows completely or just border them? overspray is surprisingly limited. i covers and taped all the glass and lights. had almost none on the ground around the truck even spraying the roof and lower panels. |

holy balls this damn thing is annoyingly bright... 24" 120wt supposedly rated at 12k lumens <no idea what it actually is> thing feels well made and is on par with pretty much every other led bar i have seen. in fact it appears identical to a few very high dollar ones. Yea i know china.. blah blah blah... but there are no domestically produced bars in my budget... i looked. in fact none even remotely close in price. http://www.ar15.com/media/viewFile.html?i=52196 http://www.ar15.com/media/viewFile.html?i=52197 http://www.ar15.com/media/viewFile.html?i=52198 Red LED dash light? |

There was a guy at an offeoad park a while back with 2 dual row 50" LEDs on his jeep.
He came out the woods and it looked like we were being attacked by a baseball stadium. Turned an entire 20 acre lot into daytime. |

Nice! I've got a 20 inch E Series from Rigid on my truck. I'm getting ready to install the 50 inch on my roof as soon as I can have some mounts made. ETA: http://i1063.photobucket.com/albums/t520/INFIDEL814/48FCDDDE-804A-43B5-BB2F-FCB76B729BC4-9542-000004066B5A074F_zps26316ad0.jpg Quoted:
Holy crap that is bright! That's going to be ordered stat, just as soon as TBS gives up the info on which product he got! I've got KCs on the roof, but honestly, they just don't put out enough light. Maybe I can figure out how to make a bar fit on my custom bracket... http://i1266.photobucket.com/albums/jj526/faldodib/Truck/c4a1bf1d.jpg Nice to see some Frontier action. Picking up a White 2013 SV 4x4 King Cab on Tuesday. Since I just moved to Boise, I had to get a truck. Been looking for lighting options and saw this thread. Thanks slayer! Looking to do a Westin bull bar with a LED strip. |

used it on an accident scene last night. vehicle spun out on the interstate and landed in a ditch. worked great. i was parked about 50' away and easily lit up the area around the car. it has also been raining like hell here and i see no signs of water intrusion.

Have you thought about using some silicone around the seams to enhance the waterproof aspect? I wonder what they have on the inside of it, as far as waterproofing aspect is concerned.
I'm trying to decide on if I want some of these now, or some Rigid lights in a year or so. Not going to "get both", so consider this a tagged thread. And I expect to see lots of night time video and pictures of the lights in use. -SleeperShooter |

http://www.ar15.com/media/viewFile.html?i=52199 this was about 2 hours after i sprayed it. the shine is just wet finish. it looks mean as hell now that it's dry i used a product called RAPTOR LINER by upol. good shit and VERY easy to spray. 2 kits was enough for 2 coats on the sides and tops and 3 on the front and hood. 2 kits is 8 32oz bottles. i used about 5.5. Any way we can get pics of the finish now that it's dry? |

i figure i can mark an LZ now out in the sticks. that was part of the reason for buying this. my lights even with an extra spot made it hard to find stumps for the helicopter landings in fields. this will be perfect for what i wanted. See? |

there are tons of IR work lights out there. most are floods, the ones i have seen are WAY to strong for general NV use from what i have seen. Who cares about illumination for NODs. I just want to be able to make left lane campers wonder why their eyes hurt. |

However, I feel that stupid should hurt, and sometimes I want to be the one to administer the pain. Plus, IR would almost guarantee that they won't brake check you out of spite. |

If you guys are serious about wanting some of these I have some connections in the emergency lighting industry and can get a fair price on bulk orders. It would have to be a group buy with staff approval. Feniex Work Lights http://feverinc.net/images/detailed/0/titan400.png My advice, stay away from the China lights and ebay sellers, they have a horrible track record. Do they come in IR? Do you also wish to fan the flames of my wife's hatred? Tread lightly, as she just went to the craft store to , presumably, get the oil changed on her broom. |

my current truck is old and worn out. but if i get a new one I want some for reverse lights
