Had a neighbor that was a former combat engineer. I had no idea what that even was until I was telling he and his wife about a hornet/bees nest in the ground in my backyard. He lit right up and started gathering 'materials' from about the house. His wife got "you did it now" look and sighed. I asked what was up and she said something along the lines of that he was probably going to blow up the entire block. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Who needs EOD when you have the Engineer brain trust? I lost count of the things wrong with this video. http://youtu.be/NsJ0sCD_7N4 All that sand and the idiots couldnt build a little sand wall around the device to be detonated or around the guy detonating it? Feel like there is no way those could have been Engineers and if they were they were def not the top of the graduating class. Know how I know you don't know any combat engineers? So what went wrong, besides presumably a shitton of procedure in dealing with UXO? Did the RPG fail to go high-order with the demo charge, or was it leftover propellant? You mean other than the fact it was unsafe as fucking hell? Nothing. I guess you reported everything like this that you saw. Most of us just stayed back and watched. Sorry if you are in incapable if anything but the rule book. You will make 3 star in the next 5 years with this attitude. <knock off the personal attacks ... and post something funny!> |

Tell me someone corrected that lifter's form? The rules for powerlifting meets say you have to have the butt and the shoulder blades on the bench. Most lifters will arch in order to shorten range of motion and to lift more. This is a VERY extreme example of that. Not saying it doesn't look ridiculous, not saying it's safe, but there's an actual reason she's doing it. |

All that for 95 lbs? (Looks like the plate says 25 LBS) Weird. It looks to be sized like a 45lb chip. 25kg would be 55lb, also nonstandard. |
