Generally speaking, I'm not totally against the idea of a quarantine.
Having said that, what are going to do if the disease does make it over here? How many of us on this forum are in EMS, the FD or a LEO, the sort of people who are going to have first contact with the patients? How about the ER nurses and doctors who are going to be sitting on these patients while trying to get them moved to an approved quarantine facility?
If every single one of us gets quarantined after a patient contact if the disease becomes widespread over here, pretty soon there's going to be no one left to answer calls or take care of the non-Ebola patients.
