I recently moved to Durham. So far it seems like indoor ranges are the only option as most outdoor clubs have long wait times. I much prefer shooting outdoors. Does anyone have any good spots they would be willing to share? Figure its a long shot but shooting steel outdoors is what I like and I haven't been able to do that in a while.

I can’t think of any. Problem is in this state people tend to be tight lipped with places to shoot because they get abused and shut down.

I live right next to you, in Dover. I shoot at Southern Maine F&G in Eliot. Only 20 min from Durham. Steel at 200 yards is the best we can do but the club is inexpensive, no wait except to attend 1 monthly meeting to sign up. I am usually the only one there when I go, which is often.
