We all really need to get together and shoot, even if it's just an informal gathering instead of more formal drills/training. We need to start doing instead of talking. I know everyone has different schedules and it's hard to organize but we should try to get some things going and make some sacrifices here and there. Like I said in the beginning, organization is everything. If/when something happens we can either run around like a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off or we can be well-regulated.

BTW: I climb the "hard" side of Pinnacle Mountain every Sunday with a heavy LO (minus weapons and ammo, of course) if anyone ever wants to join.

Now that sounds like a good idea!  I climb the easy side of pinnacle every once in a while, but have been wanting to climb the hard side for a while now.  I could not carry any extra load at this point, since I have to carry my own fat ass up the mtn.

But this would be a great weekend event for everyone to come out and do IMO.

Great Idea snipe.

I am tied up with leaving out to work on Sundays for the next two to three weeks, but I hope that switches back to Monday eventually.  But I would definitly be up, although you will probably have to wait on my slow ass.

And I would appreciate it if you would NOT use my real name in the public forums!

He means you're not as fat as everyone else.   What's that line, "you're the dumbest smart guy I know" ?  Don't quote your name if you don't want it made public, make it harder to edit.

Not going to make it, I just found out from the wife that we have company coming down. Although it does look like I will be going to shoot Sat morning with our company.  He wants to try out his new aimpoint M3 that he got Christmas but hasnt got to shoot with it yet.

Even though we will be going to Mayflower, hopefully we can still have a good time.

Now if we can just talk the guys into putting together another carbine match again in two months (with the said 400-500m targets) :)

If I'm home, then I'll be up for some shooting at the range.

My unarmed neighbor down the street has tons of food, mre's, and water.  I have guns, plenty of ammos, and I get really pissed off when i'm hungry.  If worse comes to worse...

Ive been searching for a good how-to but havent found what Im looking for.  For the 55 gallon plastic drums, will the bung plug seal good enough or is there another trick or method to seal it properly?  How often should you drain and refill?

u can also use ur water heater for water. but u MUST drain and flush it out 2 times a year. but its a lot of water sitting there that u can use.
