[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Any places in Oregon to get a g19 slide milled and get a nice Cerakote job?

I thought it'd be nice to get it done locally and both things done. I've called a couple places and haven't heard anything back.

So if someone knows of a place with a slightly better business model let me know.

Would offer up doing it it but I hear that the steel on the glock slides are super hard and I hate milling on other peoples stuff liike that. Always afraid of messing up. Besides all those other irons in the fire...

There's a ton of plCes that can do either or. Just hoping someone local could do both come on sortafast you know you want another project.

F that noise. I still haven't had time to start making the muzzle brakes I designed months ago. Kind of annoying.

Found a guy out of Salem to mill it. I'll have to check around for Cerakote.

I've only had SurTac do any previous work but I haven't heard back from him.

you can try twisted. He is a member on here and is out of colton. I have used San Diego ceracote and they did good work on the stuff I sent them. But I am friends with the owner and he is a good dude. He might also be able to mill your slide.

The guy in Salem, is it Koonce or Major 9 or ??

Glad to hear it. I didn't know too much about him so I was a little worried before meeting him. I'm looking forward to getting it back. Unfortunately I don't think he'll be done with it before I leave for AK so I won't be able to get it to Greg for paint until I'm back.
