Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Looking for long distance shooting ranges in southeast GA, southern SC

Hopefully I will be getting into long range shooting by the end of 2015. I just want to know what ranges over 100 yds / ms are in my area that are with in a 2-3 hour drive of Savannah. Are they DNR or owned by a gun club? Thanks in advance for the help.

For true long range shooting, there is Legion OTG in Blakely, GA with a 1000 yd KD course and 2500 yd unknown course. Legion is fee based

Then there is Cool Acres Shooting Camp with a 1200 yd range.

At Fort Gordon, you can take a 900 meter shot on range 14 I think. I know they are open select Fridays and Saturdays. Check the web for TASC. It is ran by MWR Outdoor Rec and is fairly cheap to shoot. Nice range also.
