I sent them an email inquiring about their stance on NFA weapons.

Here is their reply concerning NFA ownership.

The GFODL is against all firearm laws that have no effect on criminals.  The NFA only places limits on people who obey the law.  It places no limits on those who will still obtain NFA classed weapons through illegal means.  Criminals do not have to go through the background checks, pay the $200 tax and jump through all kinds of hoops in order to purchase this type of weapons.

I'm not going to say that this is the silver bullet we've all been looking for but it might be a good starting point.

Georgia Firearm Owners Defense League is a non-profit grass roots organization made up of law abiding citizens who own or enjoy the lawful use of firearms.    * Getting a bill passed that will allow Georgia Firearm License holders to carry defensive weapons where alcohol is served. (restaurant carry)
   * Removing the public gathering restrictions for Georgia Firearm License holders.
   * Preventing laws based only on falsehoods and skewed surveys.
   * Creating a Firearm Owners Defense Fund.
   * Dispelling the myth of the gun show loophole.
   * Immunity from lawsuits for gun man

I hope they do as well as long as owner of said restaurant is like minded.

I don't want to turn this thread into a pissing match but I've made my feeling well known regarding carrying on private property. Your gun rights stop where my private property or any private property begins unless the owner is like minded.
