Will be passing through tomorrow night late on my way to GA.
Is this mall/area decent? Will I get raped?

I just need a p lot to pull over and sleep for a few hours. 4-5 hours max.
Thanks.

Although I don't live in Prattville, I did hunt there for a few years and it was a pretty nice area. I wouldn't be afraid to sleep there for a few hours.

The Shoppes at Eastchase is actually in Montgomery and Not Pratttville.  It's a Very nice area but heavily patrolled by cops.  I don't think that they would allow you to sleep for 4 hours in your car without disturbing you.

If it's after 10pm, just get off 65 at Cobbs Ford Rd. and pull into Bass Pro Shops parking lot.

There is a big new Walmart about a mile down exit 11 (Chantilly) off 85..

Prattville is a few miles north of Montgomery on I-65.  You had the shopping plaza name right just the wrong city.  East Chasse is going to be at exit 9 (Taylor Rd) in Montgomery and then exit 11 (Chantilly) and you can likely find a place to park for a bit at either.  I would look at Walmart or Costco there in the area.  I wouldn't advise you to try it anywhere between Southern Blvd on I-65 up to the Perry Hill exit on I-85.  Eastern Blvd (exit 6) would probably be safe but you would increase your chance of getting harassed.  If you decide not to stop at Montgomery I would recommend either stop at the newer truck stop south of Montgomery that is still in Lowndes Co (has been a bit since I've stopped there but it was clean the last time) or I would push on to the Auburn/Opelika area.  You'd be safe there too.  Look for the exit that has Academy.  Several large lots in the area you could use.

Walmart has a policy of encouraging campers to use their lots (they want you to buy something from them for your trip).  I see it often in Troy, Ozark, and Dothan on US 231.

This walmart was awesome.
HUGE on the inside.
We tucked back by the automotive section and didn't have any problems.

Thanks all.
