Checked out the new academy sports store in Evansville this weekend and it is a very large store.  Fare amount of firearms and ave price.  I did pick a opening (I think) good deal.  22lr box of 50 copper coat bullet $2.00 a box limit 2 per person. got my limit and had wife pick up couple more.  Bought some casual shoes good price.  Seemed better pricing than gander mountain and much better than Dicks which I wont go to anymore and haven't for along time. This place is bigger than gander mountain and has a lot more stuff.  That place was packed.

Hey thanks for the heads up.  I haven't set foot in there yet but plan to.  Looking for hiking stuff and ammo.
