Here is another one in OD Green. I also added Team Kentucky to it. http://www.kentuckycarry.org/ar15/AR15-KY-BFL-OD.jpg http://www.kentuckycarry.org/ar15/AR15-KY-BFL-2.jpg Love both of them! Maybe a different font. The "K" almost looks like an "H". |
I like the top one in the above post or the green with bolt face.
Depending on how the logo winds up, and the price, I might be game for one or two.
Out of those, I like this one the most...
Reason is, I think the white background is the most flexible. On a Black shirt it will look just like that. On any other color shirt, the infill area of the state and bolt face will take on the color of the shirt so on an OD shirt, it will look like this... The key to that looking right is the state's boarder will have to be a little thicker so it stands out more. I also prefer the first font used shown in the OD shirt above /\. and I'd still like to see the BF logo be a little smaller but maybe that's just me! |
Those are looking pretty good, but I'm wondering about the shadow effect. I'm not thinking that would print very well. Other than that though, I'm digging it.

Here are some more. I also put some together for UK and UL. http://www.kentuckycarry.org/ar15/AR15-KY-BFL-BW-2.jpg http://www.kentuckycarry.org/ar15/AR15-KY-BFL-OD-3.jpg http://www.kentuckycarry.org/ar15/AR15-KY-BFL-UK.jpg http://www.kentuckycarry.org/ar15/AR15-KY-BFL-UL.jpg http://www.kentuckycarry.org/ar15/AR15-KY-BFL-WB-3.jpg These are looking good. May be down for a couple myself. But the K looks like a H. |

I really like the Boone and Kenton Dark and Bloody Ground idea mentioned earlier in this thread. I can see it my mind but I have no idea how to create the image on a computer. Finding usable silhouette images of the two is posing to be an issue right now. If anyone can locate them let me know. I'll dig around and see if I can find something. Maybe just find Images of them and vector the image into a good silhouette. |

Not sure where you guys are wanting to go with the DB/SK thing but this may work as a starting point for at least DB? http://www.shutterstock.com/pic-44718832/stock-vector-vector-hand-drawn-illustration-of-a-daniel-boone-american-revolutionary-carrying-flag-of-united.html1 |

Here are some more I did. I found a font named Armalite Rifle so I had to make some with that. http://www.kentuckycarry.org/ar15/AR15-KY-BFL-3.jpg http://www.kentuckycarry.org/ar15/AR15-KY-BFL-BW-1.jpg http://www.kentuckycarry.org/ar15/AR15-KY-BFL-OD-2.jpg http://www.kentuckycarry.org/ar15/AR15-KY-BFL-WB.jpg http://www.kentuckycarry.org/ar15/AR15-KY-BFL-WB-2.jpg Now, that font is more like it. Love the name of it! I really think that these should be the ones for the shirts. |
I'm in for atleast one no matter what, maybe two if i really like the logo. I'm not that picky

In the official hometown shirt thread linked on page 1, they are asking for us to contact them about the design. SPawn is evidently doing the designs, with input from us. I'm sending him a message to see how we can get involved and get it rolling.

I've spoken to Spawn, the official Arfcom shirt designer. He's out of town for the moment, but he is going to work something up when he gets back next week and is able. He's got a couple forums in front of us, so we'll need to be patient with the process.
I gave him a link to this thread so he could see what everyone was kicking around. |

If that's what everybody else likes that's fine but it wouldn't be my first choice. From one thing, that would look fine on a Black shirt but not so much on an OD or tan shirt. I would like to see something more flexible color wise? What else you got?

I'd prefer it without the Gadsden. +1 I'd prefer it without the Gadsden as well. While I appreciate the symbol and what it means, I don't find it visually appealing and wouldn't want it on my shirt. |

I want many of these!
My only concern would be the sweat patch in summer from having a solid design across the chest of the shirt, as opposed to a KY logo outlined with the logo inside. Does that make any sense? That said, I would gladly buy two or three. |
RCJ
I would agree about the solid printing being a sweat holder in the summer, and it makes tee shirts feel stiff. How many remember a 70's concert tee shirt? I had a Reo Speedwagon shirt that felt like it had a 1/16" of plastic over the whole front. This won't stop me from buying just from wearing in the summer or when humid. |
It was an "E.T." t-shirt for me. But I fully agree. The design is extremely cool.

This helps the shirt breathe since you don't have a design that's thick and feels like a sticker. |

Hell, it could be latex from unused condoms and I'd still buy. It is a very well laid out logo. But seriously, thank you for pointing that out.
