That's a pretty incredible turnaround. Mine took about the full 90 days when I first applied, and I just hope my renewal is processed that quickly.

yeah, the use it or lose it law going into effect in Nov. got me to use the certificate i earned in 2009.
starting nov, they only honor SDA course certificates for 3 years. |

Some people have taken the class and got the certification, but never finished up and got their license. The certification didn't expire, so a lot of people were just sitting on it.
Now those certifications have an expiration date, use it or lose it. They have a certain period of time to use it, if they don't, it expires, and if they want to get their license later, they will have to take the class over again. Its gotten a lot of people off the sidelines, get their license now rather than let the certification expire. yeah, the use it or lose it law going into effect in Nov. got me to use the certificate i earned in 2009. starting nov, they only honor SDA course certificates for 3 years. |

This is about carry permits right?
What about us you have dot mil backgrounds? I looked into getting a permit and they said I didn't need to take the class just bring in my military paperwork. Of course I never did it cause no one cares about us carrying out here in the country. |

I am CLEET certified so I didn't have to do anything but send of copy of the CLEET card. |

The abbreviated version should be s little cheaper. |
