Hi,

I just moved to the area (Frederick/Firestone area) from Missouri.

I was somewhat active in MO with 3Gun and Steel Tactical Rifle (there's a great series in MO called MOST), so i'm looking for 3 Gun locations and rifle range (i'd lke to get to ~1000) (ldeally within like 60-75 mins drive).

Also, my wife is in need of a (Wusthof) kitchen knife sharpener - any ideas north of Denver?

There's 3 gun comps at rotating ranges. 1k is not easy other than pawnee or much farther of a drive.

I do not know what forms of shooting you are looking to participate in
and/or what interest you but here are a few of the local (and not so
local) offerings.  It is by no means a complete listing.  Colorado Rifle Club has a 1000 yard range primary use is organized matches but you can utilize it if available they walk you through the info in the member orientation. (no .50BMG)  The do have some 3 Gun organized events there as well.  You can go the do it yourself route out to 1000 up in the Pawnee National Grasslands as well.

The closest gun range to you is Triggertime (119 and I-25).  it's indoor, but the owner is a HUGE long distance enthusiast.   so he can probalby point you in the right place.

There's a knife sharpener guy in Longmont.

You guys up north have so many things.

We don't have much down here but Whittington isn't far away.
