Chosin Reservoir Memorial match will be on February 6th at the

This is a night shoot using weapons only which would have been used in the Korean War. I highly suggest you bring an M1 Garand or M1 Carbine. Last year more than 1/2 the people who brought bolt action rifles COULD NOT load them in the dark.
For this shoot we build a series of snow forts over 300yds of the 500yd range.
We set up a series of steel plates that are to be engaged from the various forts as you retreat up the range.
As you move from fort to fort, someone will light up the plates and you'll engage as fast, and as many as you can.
You need to carry at least 100rds ready to load, and you need to be able to jog 300yds in the snow. From each position, the targets will be illuminated randomly over a time span of about 45 seconds. When the lights are out, we move immediately to the next position. When the shooting is done, your rifle will be smoking. You need to be able to manipulate your weapon in total darkness. There are NO lights allowed other than those use to light the targets. If you drop anything in the snow, its gone until spring.
Shoot cost is $20 per shooter. Hopefully there will be enough snow this year.
