If you want a fairly quiet beach, try Caladesi Island on the gulf coast.
It is only accessible by private boat or the public ferry which runs every 30 mins or so. https://www.floridastateparks.org/park/Caladesi-Island |

+1 for Canaveral National Seashore.
They have GREAT camping there too. All the sites can only be accessed by water craft. IIRC, canoe rentals are $20~25 a day and the sites are like $10~15 a night. |

You guys are insane. The gulf near the Tampa/clearwater area will have much nicer beaches.
