My Golden "stick" out to play in the snow with its new Colt FDE anodized extension. The Colt tube is not true FDE, but still better than black on this AR. Now to get some FDE vinyl stickers for the Tru-dot.

I had a few SBR stamps come back a few months ago and am slowly doing something with them. I did a 10.5" thats prob a few pages back. Just finished a 7.5 minus the muzzle break (back ordered). Now idk if ill do a 11.5 or 12.5 (prob the 12.5). This 1 was alittle on a budget, before I decided to get the stock
Anderson lower ($40), AIM upper/bcg/CH($100) , BA barrel ($80), PSA LPK ($40), some cheap rail ($30) and Troy stock ($250).

Giving the Holosun ACSS a try. Reticle not as crisp as the EOTech but it's just as fast while being about half the weight. So far I really like it

I got the 5.45 specific parts off the EE for less than 5.56 parts. If I get bored with it I've got a spare 5.56 barrel, bolt and mags. Ammo price is on par with 7.62x39 and steel 5.56. I am betting/hoping on cheap 5.45 coming back also. |
