The hack is order the handguard you want from lancer direct and you get it in a palletable amount of time compared to sig. I have had the aluminum 4.5" sig handguard on order since feb this year. This one from lancer in carbon fiber took 3 weeks.

Local guy, Laser Edge Engraving in Spring, Tx

There is a video called "Now the Video" of the engraving if you scroll down in the videos section. I had it done over a year ago.

It was removed for safety most likely, because it was a training drill for public demonstration.

10 inch hand guard, right?
View Quote

Correct.   I hated that sig offered nothing between the pistol 8" length and the carbine length.   That SBR started as a carbine, I traded for a pistol length HG.   8" was a little short for me, and carbon fiber is sweet.   Its a lot of $$$ but,  if it was all about money, I be shooting a Sub-2000.

Some day my Omega 9k will get out of ATF jail, and then it will be 100% !

Anyone have a way of velcroing an MPX pistol to the safe door?

Lot's of holders made for pistols but wondering how best to do it for something a bit bigger.

Interesting.  Think the magnet would be enough to grab the barrel given the spacing of the aluminum hand guard?

Let me confirm. The magnets are very strong.

It will but there are plenty of steel parts that it will grab to. Front sight post, muzzle, pins, stock.

yes sir that is the Octane 3 lug with an HK parts 3 lug adapter.  I've been having big time POI shift with this set up but no baffle or end cap strikes.

thats interesting, I have had no POI shift using a AAC tirant 45S can on a 4.5" barrel with a 3 lug mount. Obviously, I used the same 147g ammo for the results, but at 30 yards, no difference.

Same here, no POI shift using a 4" barrel with a rocksett TROS USA 3-lug and a Griffin Armament 3-lug attachment with my SilencerCo Octane 45HD.

Clearly, something is wrong . Sico says a little play is normal but  some have no play at all with a 3 lug mount. I'm on my 2nd Sico octane mount and I've have POI shift with both.  I have the MPX zeroed with the can on it. Maybe I should try another 3 lug mount.  Any other suggestions as to what is causing this shift?  Maybe it doesn't matter since the can is going to live on the MPX.

My AAC 3 lug adapter spring is really heavy. To the point where I am not a wuss and I have to push down and twist with the buttstock on a table or the deck. It doesn't move when installed.

Several people have put the griffin 3-lug on the Omega 9k.    Octane and Omega share factory mounts, so one is good for the other.  So its not really a question of can you, more like, should you....

All that I have seen, the Sico 3-lug seems to be a little more accurate than the griffin on a 9k.

I guess I'm not having accuracy issues with the can on. My MPX shoots very tight groups, it's just that POI shift with the can mounted and unmounted that bugs me.   I've had 2 of the SiCo mounts and I have the same results with both.  I can't find the GA mount anywhere online so I guess I'll just keep running the SiCo set up.

I really like the sights on the MPX. I'm considering putting them on my go-to rifle (9" 300 blk) and putting the MBUS pros (which are currently on the blackout) to the MPX. The MPX strikes me more as slick PDW. Where the low pro sights would be perfect.

Still trying to find the right mlok rail to span the full length of the lancer handguard. I have the 13 slot seekins rail on there now, but I don't really like it because it doesn't match up very well with the top of the receiver. So the surefire switch doesn't seat all the way. Hopefully lancer will finish their rail soon because it's pretty annoying.
