Does anyone have any recommendations for point of sale software for the PC that doesnt cost an arm and a leg?  Im using Quickbooks POS right now.  I like it,  but its not very reliable.

I just need something simple that will print out thermal receipts, keep track of sales and taxes and basic inventory.

Everything ive found online wants you to pay by the month.  I dont want to do that.

Contact accu-sport. They have a pretty good pos system they are selling now.

You could also check out NCR CounterPoint.

I haven't used either but NCR has been around forever and is a HUGE company.  I work with their grocery POS systems regularly but mainly deal with back-end stuff.

Sorry, on tablet...

ETA:  Dealer support is just as important as the system itself.
